I have always done well with independent agents representing many companies, and giving the agent all of my personal and business insurance. Before I do any change, I will inform my independent agent of this Allstate quote.

I suggest you check with Allstate and also with an independent, and offer them ALL of you insurance. Can't hurt.

Have they ever added a decent base, like 4- or larger, then put gravel on top?
Yes sir. It's crazy. We're in a dry-spell, right now. The county-drain/creek on my property is muddy, but no water. The road is dry and like a dust-bowl.
Our property is all clay and cracking, so if it rains hard for any time....you can watch the water head across our place towards the creek.

Have you considered getting a houseboat and an Amphicar?

Which air filter? Cabin, or intake?

Sent from my SM-S918U1 using Tapatalk
It's the cabin air filter. I have an unpleasant odor inside my car and would like to replace it. As for the engine air filter, does it require a specific cleaning oil for maintenance? Thank you.:giggle:

After this dry period, it will traditionally rain a shit-ton in the fall. I had to spend over 30K to get perf-pipe drain runs, that catch the surface running water till the ground softens some. It's still clay, so water re-direction is a requirement. It's pretty crazy at times.
Before I had the drainage system done, we actually had water flood our breezeway, go thru our attached garage, exit under the doors, and run across the yard to the creek. Our breezeway is lower than the rear patio area, and it was like a waterfall into the breezeway and garage. I have video of shoes and a cooler floating all over the breezeway.

We're in a very high water-table area. They dump gravel on our road 5-6 times a year, and mother-earth just eats it up. Then, there's that dust when they grade. I can leave, perfectly clean...4-500' later....looks like it's been sitting for 6 months. I have to wash the cars, every time I use them. We have well-water. We haven't hand washed a car here, in 25 years.
Or you can be like @Jimmy N. And never wash them

It's in the front valance, on the right side, right next to the wiper. It is a 12" x 2" plastic grate that pulls off. Your cabin air filter is in there.

A lot of us use a K&N filter. It is serviceable and you will never need to replace it.

Search this thread and you will find a part number. We were discussing it a couple of weeks ago.

Man...I couldn't handle that...my friend has a 300ft dirt/stone driveway....I've never taken my car there...dust gets into everywhere
