I thought about that. But I don't think they would do it. I priced the one seat carpet to do a proper conversion and it is 2 pieces and cost about $350. Not sure if I will pay that much.

Worth a try.
All they can do is say no.
If I remember correctly
If you have a vin# no changes can be made.
Still worth a try. I assume they have a bunch of left over parts.

Do the Welds not take them?

Yes the welds will take them. But on the weld skinnies I have had to flip the sensor around 180 deg (could be damaged when tire mounting) and many times on all the welds the mounting hole needs work to seal properly with TPMS. These Forgestars are prefect in every way. And, on the Billet Specialties fronts they will not accept a TPMS unless you band them in since the valves stem hole is unusually small / custom. The Forgestars are my Street Setup so TPMS is a must and that is one of the reasons for the additional expense of a second set of wheels and tires.

Yes, they are seemingly a great wheel. Reasonable cost, strong, great design with a conventional drop center, TPMS ready and reasonably light.

i was gonna guess you got them to build you a one seater.....but I think you said you ordered the blank carpet, so that doesn’t add up. Nothing you are ordering (that you have disclosed) requires a seperate upfitter that I’m aware of.

It's no big deal. Lets wait until I get the car and see if I can tell any difference. I did not ask to get a one seat build. I do not like to bug people that I know are busy. But if I had thought about it, I could have planted that seed at the time........... Too late now.
