Yes definitely cheaper. The Ram is the first I've had wrapped and I think its worked out well. I'd definitely look into a purple wrap, might not be exactly plum crazy but I think 3M do one which is pretty similar. It can always be taken off in a few years if she gets bored of it. Would make an...
I'm liking the whole wrap idea, it's nearly as exciting as getting a new truck. When I collected it my mind was somehow tricked and when opened the tailgate and saw the bed all dirty and some bags of sand and such I'd left in there I was quite surprised
Headlight prices are crazy.
I was shocked that a single headlight for my TRX (imported and customs cleared) cost a few pounds short of £3.5K so I looked up a few general prices for comparison, even ones for a small runabout Audi can be £2K.
Super happy to have finally got the truck back from the repairers - I ran in the back of a car on 1st September .
Long job as the insurance company initially refused to pay out due to modifications. They didn't like the wrap and said they were unaware but I had disclosed it on the sales...
I was chatting with the local body shop man and he was telling me he was getting a Range Rover in for repair which had an £8K matte black paint option. He was dreading it as it’s a spray and leave job and if not perfect then start all over again. I just had a look on the website and on the SV...
Postie arrived with some 3M knifeless tape so just quickly tried a small section on the engine turned plastic dash piece. Never wrapped anything but seems like it'll work although I'm far from confident about doing the top bit of the binnacle above the speedo. I've got 3M gloss black, the yellow...
Yes, people often wave and take photos. I think the black/stripe combo and definitely the WB makes it stand out more.
I live near RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath which are USAF bases and even though there are probably 10K airmen plus families in the area you don't see Challengers or Chargers...
Gave the car a quick wash before an American show, its about an hour away so had to get up a early. It's quite a good one as you can just turn up and they let you in anytime with driver for free which I think it encourages turn out.
Bit of interest in the car and managed to chat with a few...
I went to a car show last weekend, just as a visitor as it was a distance away and I didn't want to commit to an early start. It was a good show and will probably book next year as an exhibit. Anyway, when we got there my friend noticed that one of the rear wheels seemed warm, it was hot but not...
LHD as supplied from Canada, only a few minor alteration to lights for our regs.
Yes, it seemed louder in the drivers side and at the time I thought it was coming from behind the dashboard but after I have watched the video I agree it was resonating through the ducting. It'd make sense that...
Thank you.
My air conditioning stopped working a while ago (not cold and clutch wasn't engaging) so I asked them to check it whilst it was being serviced. They vacuum tested and said it held pressure but was empty and proceeded to gas it up - made absolutely no sense. It worked for a few days...
Can someone point me in the direction of a decent parts catalogue please?
I think I might be missing something but I'm hoping for something like this where I can look at exploded diagrams and find parts and their numbers:

Thanks
Leather on the dash? I really hate mine, the dash and top of the door cards are bare solid plastic.
Since it seems impossible to find an upholsterer who I'd trust to cover it should I be looking for one out of a wrecker? Mines a 2019 though.
