10.0 Index Finals at MSHS / Lone Star Mopar Fest 10/9/21

I agree, I'd rather make them beat me than beat myself.

In the Finals, my buddy was telling me to deep stage, since we knew he was good on the tree & was cutting .1's RT's all day, but I didn't want to change what I had been doing all day to get there. I thought if I red light by deep staging then I wouldn't be giving myself a chance at the finish line. It was real close at the finish & got beat but I didn't beat myself & give it away, he had to take.

I flew down a couple of years ago. That Track is absolutely amazing and It makes me sad they are closing it.
I just have too much work to do at this time or i would have flown down for the Race!

Yeah, I can't believe it's closing, the last time I go next year when it closes will be a sad drive home.

This should kick ass and I have a great shop 1 mile from the house whom have a great track record to work with. About time for a cocktail while watching Street Outlaws. One group is show casing a garage from Sarasota I have been in dealings with for 3 years.

I looked at the MSHS web site & saw in the points standings for the 10.0 Index class that the guy Mike England car #766 that I raced in the Finals is the points leader out of 36 that are in the 10.0 class.

I don't feel too bad about losing to the best in the MSHS 10.0 class.

Not bad loosing to someone like that. LOL
I kept getting beat by the track champ. I didn't deal like I sucked losing to him.
He only didn't win something like 3 races all year. LOL
