Most around here are selling for 65 ish higher miles & 75 ish low miles
If you can find 1
Not sure what they are selling for in the US ???

Prices seem to have dropped over the past 6 months
Seeing them under 55k regularly. Been some in the 40s. May be back to 2020 pricing before everything went stupid

People like the person that talked to you probably read something and has created in his mind the later cars are better. I know very little about what changes they have made to camaros in the last years and if I saw a story in car and driver for instance they may talk about a change to a part that in previous years rarely if ever failed so does it really matter? There are some minor things that have but not enough to have to spend 10k or more for a newer one. I have zero regrets about buying a '16
I will say that I found it interesting to read rayzazoo’s post from years ago showing the horsepower increases from the early cars to the ‘19 and up (31 horsepower and 10 lbs ft torque.)

I don't about all that. The 17 cam isn't as good as the 15-16 cam. I don't see the newer cars being faster then the older ones but you are also not going to see much around 25 hp

There was a 19 Charger I knew that he couldn't get into the 10s for a long time. Finally in good air he went 10.9. I was 10.6s in same DA

speaking of Mopar OEM hemi cams, does anybody know where to get the valve timing data, i.e., cam card info. without having access to a Cam Doctor? The catalog info. is useless, and my email to Mopar have been crickets. I picked up several new cams that were "on sale" for prices that seemed too good to pass up from a well-known dealer a few months ago, and now I would like to know what I got . I was hoping one of them was the OEM 15-17 Hellcat one.

Part numbers are on the end of the cams

Nearly 40% price increase. Really hard to buy a newer hellcat to get the same thing. Most Hellcats are on the lower mile side anyway if looking to buy used. My '16 was bought in '20 with 7k miles
Hard to believe @vortecd that you’ve had it for almost 4 years now! Seems like it’s been a good one?

I bought them based on P/N as a best guess based on the catalog, so I know the P/N, but the catalog is useless as it says they are used on basically every Hemi under the sun even though I highly doubt that. They come in a Mopar cam box with zero paperwork. I guess they are meant for the dealer tech's to just slap it in, line up the marks, and go strictly by the P/N and ship it. I want to know the damn valve timing information. :-(

They added more security features in the 22's and up
Internal motion sensors and some other upgrades, not sure what they all are but I'm sure a quick googlie search can answer that.
I often forget to do the triple lock button to disable the motion sensor, and before I get into the store I hear an alarm going off. It's my dog...

I've heard that about the newer systems. I can say that also loading Performance pages takes forever. No experience with Apple Car Play. What's the story with it?
The performance pages in my TRX load up as slow as my 2016 Challenger did. You just learn to expect up to 60 seconds for the pages to load.

Now that you mention it, they seem to come up quite a bit quicker in the '23 Challenger.

Of course, performance pages with a V6....??? Well, I still like to watch the gauges.

We have a 2016 6-speed and 2018 wide body A8, first thing that caught my attention is the insurance when we added the 2018 last year. Wide body is almost $200 more every six months with the 2016 at $436 and the 2018 at $600. Just got the 2018 renew and now they want $766! Looking into Hagerty now, crazy times for a good driving record and 59 years young.

That's a bargain! My rates just jumped 30% last year, now over $1k! Wife has no tickets, claims or accidents in over 20y, me, more than 30y! Car insu is not mandatory in NH, but....

Let us know what you find!

That's about twice what I pay for my '18, with full coverage and high limits.

Almost reminds me of California prices...oh, wait, it is. Never mind.
