Pulled 100lbs out to get to "challenger" weight.

Car still has traction issues with these 305/45/17's with the power this car makes. I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and go 315/50/17.

I'm working with my tuner to get another revision for the shift points and bump the timing a bit. Car was shifting a couple hundred RPMs low from 2-3, 3-4, 4-5.....there is MPH and ET to be gained there.

Either way, I'm chipping away.

In my opinion I think it gives you a lot of room for error if prep isn't on point. Prep was very very good last night, and I couldn't hook at all unless I squeezed the pedal off idle.

I replaced the 305 with the 315 after less than consistent 60’s with the 3.09 gears. The 315 is much more consistent. I would never go back.

Wow! Great job man and still room to go!!

You A8 guys are so lucky to have the available 315/50’s too. I wish they made the bias ply in that height and width. Unfortunately the bias 28x11.50’s measure short and only have a 9.5” tread width as well. (n)

Keep gettin it done FFBOS!

Nice run bud. That mph is looking real good.

Is this a street tune or a race file?

That tune was 20 degrees of timing, and shifts around 6200-6300.

I have my tune revision in the car now which bumps the timing up to 22 and shifts to around 6400. I only run these tunes when the ethanol tests over 80% on the test tube. My season is creeping up on me here. I'm hoping to get one more visit this year.

I still have to get my 315's on the rims, which has proven to be a pain in my ass getting the bead around the rim. I also have a driveline vibration that I'm going to take a look at tomorrow on a lift to see if anything is loose. If all looks well I should make it out again.

Good deal.

Those new 315/50/17 are nice. You’ll hook real good with them.

Bud, I’ve been chasing a driveline vibration for over a year! I still have it. Let me know your findings.

Vibrations is really noticeable between 60-80 mph.

While I’m cruising if I let off the throttle the car stabilized and drives perfectly still. As soon as I apply throttle, the vibration resumes. It’s mega annoying. I’ve replaced 3 driveshafts, changed 2 differentials, changed diff braces, changed wheel and tire combos, swapped a trans, replaced a right rear Shock and still nothing has fixed it. I didn’t do all that to specifically fix vibrations it was just stuff during the course of modding, but still. Super FKn annoying.

I threw a cheap BMR cradle lockout a while back. That’s the only thing left I haven’t really changed since then. I’m swapping that coming up to see. But man!! It’s annoying
