Something else going on there. Glad alternator fixed your issue, but that wiring is very concerning

Wires arent bare or broken as ive previously stated. The harness will be changed when the motor gets pulled.

Just because they aren’t bare (insulation not broken) doesn’t mean they’re not damaged. Engine doesn’t have to be pulled to change the wiring, I’ve done it already. How did that happen though? Almost looks like a fuel leak and caught on fire?
