carbon fiber

thinking about trying to pull some molds to make some carbon fiber parts. trying to start simple to learn. anybody have suggestions or requests to parts they might want to see? absolutely 100% beginner but gotta start somewhere. couple things i was thinking about trying are the shift handle, the little coin spot next to the shifter, fuse cover. i know alot of things can be purchased but im trying to learn now and maybe pick it up as a hobby or even future business if im ANY good at it. lol

Not really a CF guy myself but it seems there are a few under-hood covers that don’t seem to intricate. Maybe try a few of them first just to get a feel?

yep those are def on my radar as starter projects

Here are the parts that come to mind:
Shifter handle
Center Console
Climate control panel (Chargers…Challengers include this with the console)
Instrument Bezel (less expensive version since the Mopar version is very expensive)
Interior Door Handle Panels (5PF62DX9AC)

A matte carbon fiber similar to the factory carbon fiber is preferred…the shiny carbon looks a bit dated these days.

Doesn't seem to be any nice carbon fiber interior stuff for a charger.

I like the wheel by zen carbon fiber

Most all of the CF interior parts I own have some sorta CF layover. THAT is whats difficult is getting the CF to lay over whatever ur doing properly. Its a very expensive process. My rims have them as well.

These for example are CF lay overs on my Magnesium wheels. They look like they are melted into the wheel. It takes a LOT of skill and practice to get it to look this seamless. THAT will be ur struggle is making it look seamless. $10k rims but the CF was $2500 and took an extra two months to get. They weigh 13.9 lbs btw lol

But id love to see someone try to make some CF parts.
