No plans to combine them going forward. I think you and maybe 2 other people like it better with Moparty. Our overwhelming feedback was to go back to doing CF completely separate. Moparty is meant to be a spectacle to draw in spectators, at CF we focus on the car owners to give them an event to enjoy their cars so completely separate characters.

Selfishly it worked out better for me combining them to be honest. I was already in the pits with my car prepped for Moparty and they handled track setup for the most part but lots of other things didn't work out so well. The folks at Holley are awesome to work with so I may work with them at Moparty this year, we'll see.

I usually like to hit 3 or 4 events a year personally so the travel is part of the fun for me. I'll sit on the couch when I'm 70. I'm trying to pick out an MSHS event or two now.

Dan and some folks form MSHS are gonna be at CF this weekend so I'm gonna talk to them, but how's Michigan in August? It's bloody hot that time of year around here. This one is during the Dream Cruise.

It will most likely be in the 80s but we never know. Our weather here can really swing a lot with the lakes.

Hmmm 80s wouldn't be too bad. I ran in Street Car Takeover at Beech Bend in August 2019. 95 and 80% humidity. Never again.

We do see 90s in August. But being later in the month I would think more like 80 to mid 80s. Humidity will be 80s as well though.

Humidity may put me out then. That's too hot for racing for me, but historical says 81° avg and last year it was 88° but only 54% humidity.

I'll keep an eye on that one.

All depends maybe humidity is lower in August than I thought. 54 % and those temps wouldnt be end of the world

If you have never been to the Dream Cruise then it is worth it for that. Roadkill Nights which Dodge does the week before is also a good time. I started going to that instead of the Dream Cruise. Dodge would have one of the best displays but lost their spot because they tore down the shopping center to build a hospital. So Dodge decided to turn it into an even the week before dream cruise with the drag racing on Woodward.
