Charger Hellcat - Eco setting perform same as Challenger?

Did you confirm the second gear start in Eco? I tried that three years ago and considered driving in it all the time for a few minutes but decided the 1 MPG or whatever was not worth it. It's not like I flog the car mercilessly 24/7.

Yep. Eco will force a 2nd gear take off, at least in full power mode. Havent tried it in 500 yet.

My 18 charger will start in 2nd in eco only.

All other modes force a 1st gear start. Even if in 500hp mode without eco. Still 1st gear. The only way to start in 2nd without forcing it in manual mode is use of eco.

It did this stock and also with a Dusterhoff TCM tune.

The guy is saying there is no way to get his Daytona to start in 2nd, even in Eco. Says he called FCA and they told him that his car isnt programmed to do that. Seems odd.
