I'm waiting for the 2027/28 Charger Hellcat, preferably widebody and I'll make a decision to get one then. I do miss my yellow Hellcat I must say.

I really was not a fan of the new LB body style, but when I seen the attached picture, I must say I was feeling it, can't believe I just said that.

If it looks anything like this I may be back into one soon, that 2 door option is sweet AF and AWD.

Let's see what SRT does with this, anxiously awaiting.

I, too, await the 2027 Hellcat Charger. I think it's awesome looking with the looks in my opinion of the Challenger front end and the Charger rear end! I ran across this and could not find any information on the HP for the rumored 2027 Charger.

It might be a bigger disaster than the EV Charger. Honda used to be known as an engine company and they have played it too safe for decades now.

The Prelude had a lot of potential for the younger enthusiasts. Instead they gave it a weak engine, terrible transmission and a heavy hybrid system.

They should have kept it simple and focused on light weight. No CVT, no heavy, expensive hybrid system. Dodge has a 324 hp turbo 4 so there’s no reason Honda can only come up with a combined powertrain of 200 hp.

During initial testing in Japan, it was so slow in 0-60 testing that the company introduced a new launch control system to help it get out of the 9-second range. Absolutely pathetic in 2026, especially for a sporty coupe aimed at attracting the younger performance enthusiast.

Honda knows how to make a performance car. The Civic Type R is a heck of a car. Too expensive, though.

The redeye is the worst car ever light to light or with a youtuber driving. Now it is one of the greatest Strip cars ( Almost said Track ) as a starting point with a tire.

Don't forget the 1-mi, 2k and 1.5mi. Other than a Ferrari and a Ford GT, I have not seen any other showroom stock car do over 188 in the 1.5. (Ferrari Bob's new McLaren puked in the 160's! He was pissed and regretted selling is Ferrari!) Young lady with a stock 2015 did 190+. Reprhawk did 193 last Sept in a stock '22 REWBJB. Most people have no clue how fast these cars really are!

I mean if you can get the boat to 60 in the mid to even late 3’s, after 60 it is c-ya to most.

I agree with @2ndAmend due to what I see above about 130-140 ish, on the track, there is not much standing and if so, we are right there or pulling. Mostly I have seen pulling especially after getting the heating and shifting fundamental problems it was born with solved. These things rock. A TA-2 labeled Camaro and I agreed to a roll on the large straight at BIR, it actually pulled a few lengths on him but damn did boat look dumb after I needed to slow 50 mph from 170 to enter #1. He was not far behind and damn, that looks fun. I’ll need to search for the video, I was in front but I think I got a good vid of him going around #1.

A lot of cars much slower even with a radial are easier to drive on a non prepped surface. I made mine slower on the street. ;-)

You have a modded car. The stock tune has a relatively gentle launch. Good tires and a soft foot and it'll go. But it requires skill unlike all the idiot proof 4wd cars. The 4wd will get the jump, but you need to hold back a bit to avoid spin and make it up later. I am planning on 555r's for the rear this spring.

I don't agree or disagree, yeah it is a handful on the street, even with 305 Michelins on the rear. During the cold season and on crappy pavement it is hard to get going from a stop. I remember when the car was new and I had the 275 Pirelli all seasons on it the first 2 gears were basically worthless.

Well...all I know is "stock"..my Cats are all fast enough for me..(and that's all that matters)

Dodge has not officially confirmed horsepower, but multiple leaks and reports point to a major jump over the old 717–807 hp era.

Sounds like if this is true, it will be most likely set up for regular Driving and then maybe with some part changes and a Track Tune!

2 door 850/900 hp Charger.....that gets my attention..(maybe 1 more Mopar before I die)
