Dang! My first photo enforced ticket

This Sucks!

Driving on a Sunday early morning to see my newest grandson in Maryland, with my Daughter in the car.

In a work zone, nobody working, at around 8:30 am.

Received the ticket 5 weeks after the trip!

The trip got mighty expensive.

Luckily I was not in my Hellcat.

Damn, Mother f''ers, Son of a bitch, F' them, Aholes, F you.

That goes for my home state New Jersey for giving them my information or registration.

Received the ticket in Delaware.

Learned that if you stay below 9 mph above their work enforced limit supposedly no ticket

After this wanted to get one of those license plate covers to inhibit the photo enforcement camera.

I do not know what app is doing this. We took the Durango on a multi-state trip this weekend. I do use CarPlay. We cannot figure it out but it gives us a very loud warning before all robot cameras! We did not see the warning on Google Maps or Waze which were both live when these warnings are coming in. So go figure.

I'd go to court and fight it. They just want some money and will work out a deal. But it won't hurt your insurance!

I've had two...(both school bus)....we have issues in the City with school bus drivers...they have this habit of sitting waiting for kids to come out of houses with their yellow lights on....they sit there forever..then as kids finally come out of the house..they activate the red lights...some cars are in the process of passing and get photo'd....they have done radio talk shows about it...it's a real issue...both times I was furnished with photos of the back of my truck..(well past the bus)..I DONT PASS SCHOOL BUSSES WITH RED LIGHTS FLASHING...tickets are 125.00 I believe...

There was a thing here like that, and people quit paying the tickets. Turned out there was no legal leg to stand on as the cameras were operated by a third part who weren't law enforcement if I remember right. Now I only know of two for red lights and my radar detector warns me of them, and I wonder if they're the same third party deal.

I did get a $75 ticket for parking a couple years ago from some parking garage company. I threw it in the trash lol. Never heard a thing.

Historically, it has been third parties offering to install speed cameras to municipalities, do all the work, send the tickets and give a % to the town. Town invests nothing, receives revenue. Serious scam! Lots of problems like, who was driving? Driver gets the ticket, not the car!

And there was an article way back, red light cameras were not generating expected revenue. 3rd party convinced town to shorten yellow lights, and problem solved! This is what libs call "justice"!
