with you data logging the boost just was curious if the stock gauge was the same
Looks like it doesn’t start raining until 5pm. I’ll have to get it out here in a bit and raise some hell.

Is this the first time you ran it in DA that low?
I presume it was colder and dry air with the baro quite high.
It’s the first time I’ve datalogged it in da that low. I got the car in August. I’m sure I ran it in the fall with some pretty low da but it was stock.

Mine shows 10 psi all the time when I have looked at it. When The DA was below 0 I did see a blip of 11. Still showed 10 at first then did show 11

I am close to see level and at -400 or lower.
I will see 12 on my guage in the dash. Summer time it's around 10.
I have to go back and look at logs I did earlier and see if I had the pids I would need open at the time.
There was a technical learning curve.🤪😰
Fwiw last fall with the Incognito pulley I saw 13.5 psi before the car went stupid and blead off boost. I am sure had it not done that I may have seen 14psi. That was in neg 600 DA with temps in the mid - high 40's and baro was over 30.
The air may be giving you a little extra help.😉

If you get out today let us know what you see.
Hopefully I get to have your issues in less than a month.😉

My stock 2016 blower with a 2.85 and no other mods made 16.5 psi of boost most always and approached 17 in negative DA. It’s why I was so pissed off when I put the FAS bearing plate on it and it ruined that blower because I was hoping to make 18 to 18.5 with the plate and a port matched snout and a true 95 mm throttlebody. But I never got to do such because that blower was ruined on start up because of tight bearing bores in the plate. I used a blower I had new in a crate that was off a 2017 and put the plate on it without testing it stock that unit with the FAS plate and port matched snout with 95 mm throttlebody makes 18 psi in good air, in the 17.5 range always. What your air charge saying your flowing?? Lobe timing in these blowers makes a big difference. My 2016 blower the lobes favored the pressure side not set on center as most are, you may have got one like this as well. You also could have a exhaust restriction, bent pipe, clogged cat(s) etc but if that was the case it would probably be low on power and pulling timing for detonation. Feel blessed!!

I hope I don't come off dumb with this post. I'm looking for help here and I am concerned since I bought the car used and don’t know it’s history

From what I understand from online research and watching Speedys youtube video is Boost is measured Manifold Air Pressure - Baro.

I only have a 2.85 pulley how am I making this much boost.

This would be 16.33psi DA was +800
View attachment 40277

This screenshot was -400 da but still 17.61psi on only a 2.85
View attachment 40275
When I do the math from above pressures I get 16.33 and 17.08 psi, that totally in reason with a 2.85, no belt slip with a tight blower in good air. That’s right where my original 2016 blower was.

I’ll have to look at that log again maybe that wasn’t the highest point for boost. I could have swore I got those numbers above. But who knows. When I get home I’ll double check everything. DA is around 300 right now so it’ll be good weather for a test. You are making me feel better of just having a good running car haha

What’s your max timing set to?? I was able to run 14 degrees on 93 and made about 785 wheel at 16.5 psi of boost with knock sensor voltages staying under 1600 millivolts.

Also, You need to look at baro and manifold pressure at the same time frame not just peaks as baro changes a bit as you drive around

GO, sorry to hear of the plate problem. But I am quite surprised to hear that the construction of the "stock" units can vary to such a huge degree. In fact, that's pretty shocking to me. I thought construction tolerances were much higher than that. Leaves me scratching my head.

We have an embarrassment of riches... my old MP112 on my GTO produced a whopping 4 to 4.5 PSI. I'll be sad to see the ICE begin to take a back seat to electric for high performance in some ways.

Here I have attached 2 logs the first was before we ended up pulling timing the second is after we pulled timing
You will also notice I hit 87% injector duty cycle. Making this extra boost may be putting me in an unsafe spot.

I was just about to go do another pull but my laptop is dead. It'll have to charge for a bit.

Demon injectors. I’m wishing I’d just done id1300s and went flex fuel next winter as a winter project.
