@Speedy! Crank pulley recall for the 170? If only they pinned them..
Well, that's certainly a mistake also, but pinning won't stop the bolts from backing out on the back side of the pulley... someone forgot to use loctite I guess.

Wouldn’t stop it but less chance of damage, if the bolt backs out it’ll spin on the crank

3.5 hrs for the recall on my plugs. The factory original plugs gap was averaging .030 / .032 with no signs of improper combustion. The new plugs checked in @ the recommended .024 right out of the box as would be expected after a recall.

Rumor is a new crank pulley design is being tested. I'd think the 170 crank pulley is the same as all other Hellcats so why the issue?

That is definitely not the same damper as the HC.
My understanding is that it's the new part made by Fluidampr.

The 170 is an actual fluid dampener unlike hellcats and redeyes, or so they say

Maybe, but apparently only up until it comes apart and grinds up your timing cover. lol.

ATI requires pinning I think? Voids the warranty.

I don't think they require it--just highly recommend it. But they should all be pinned--warranty be damned.

I was more worried about it spinning in the crank I thought that’s why they were talking about. Shouldn’t destroy the engine if those back out now that I see what it looks like. I HATE those screws. TBA uses those on their thermostat clocker. I stripped one. Need to find a higher grade replacement that’s stronger. Horrible
