I think the trans has a converter dump as well.

could be wrong, but I'm guessing driveshaft, diff, and axles go together; and even then, not sure about rear trans to driveshaft interface may be different too

I have an order in for a Demon 170 but before the Demon 170 became available I was thinking of buying an 18 Demon. What do you think the effect of the new Demon will have on prices of the 18? People are all over the place on that question

I think I was pretty close on most.

At the time the 1FAST29 plate was shown I'm confident that was the 60' at the time.
I saw Tim in one interview say that the 1fast29 plate was referencing Iowa. It is was the “ 29th” state in the union and where the most corn is grown. He also said that “ nobody” got that.

Lol. There is that 🙄. Actually…. I don’t normally follow the hype. I’ve never thought the Demon was much more than a glorified Hellcat. It’s not a bad thing as far as the car itself goes, but the value placed on the Demon badge isn’t my thing. I do however see the differences with this new one as significant. It’s funny…. I read about the changes they made to the drivetrain and the first thing I think is…. I wonder if that’s going to be available thru Direct Connection for regular Hellcat owners to finally be able to have a serious rear end.

The cylinder head stud sleeves, according to Shell Power article, were to allow for the head studs to have all of the clamping force necessarily without cracking the aluminum head. As far as I was aware, those sleeves are for when a stud (or bolt) passes through a water jacket or the intake/exhaust ports.
Anyone have a different experience? Seems using a sleeve that takes the clamping force off of the head is the opposite of what anyone would ever want.
