Congrats, I bet you don't plan on driving it much, I just left London several months ago and gas prices are unbelievable compared to US prices. If I was a UK citizen I would stick with the bus. Enjoy.
Lize, the reason I'm talking about the bus is that the "stupid Americans" as we are known as very well in England have no idea of the driving conditions. I owned a house in London that's 12 miles from Heathrow and it takes an hour to get there lol. When I first began my journeys in the UK I thought the taxi drivers were screwing me over because I would think 12 miles would be about 15 minutes lol.

BTW, beautiful car

The taxi ride part is funny! I used to live near Manchester, if you didn't leave the house by 8:15 there was no hope of getting to work 3 miles away for 9am and that was the local town and not city centre. I now live in Suffolk which is rural and there's hardly any traffic, locals have no idea and complain if they are in a queue for a few minutes.

I took the photo at the dealers, its a Scat Pack and a Raptor next to it, not sure if they were customer cars due for collection or stock. He's just ordered 2 Rams for stock, some people like to buy what they see rather than wait for the right one to ship over. I sold my old Raptor via the same dealer (not PX) and he got a good price for it within a few days, much less depreciation than on a European model.

Lize, you have one gorgeous Cat. Owning a car like yours, would you be classified as a "Mod" or a "Rocker"? I know, I know...that goes back a long time.

This forum shares great info on our Mopars...now also sharing cultural information and the appropriate use of slang, gotta love this place!

Lize, a person from across the pond who loves American performance...fantastic to see. Raptor, Ram, Redeye...you're the bomb (slang for "the Best"!). I've owned all of them also. Please continue to provide your impressions of the Redeye.

Mudflaps are a must to avoid tearing up your paint. I have ZL1 products on mine.

I have an affinity for Jaguar. The SVR is fantastic. I gave up my F Type R for my Sublime Redeye. Miss that car but love the Redeye!

Definitely a mod and love scooters, 1952 Douglas Rod (Made by Douglas in the UK under licence from Vespa).
Originally sold at local garage, I believe 2 owners plus me from new but previous owner repainted it :(

It should look like this, a sort of sea spray colour.

@Hayabusa, wow I had no idea they did jazzy interior colours, that looks really nice (y).
I presume you did a special order for LHD, did you use a UK dealer?

My local Jaguar/Land Rover dealer here in the U.S. got it for me...colour palette is a factory option.

I liked the crazy red interior with the white exterior...I'm in a high colour phase right now.

My first Hellcat was black, my second was Granite Crystal. Current Sublime is over the top. My Raptor was traded to get the SVR. Had an orange then a blue Gen1 then this blue Gen2. Cool trucks. Anxious to see what the TRX turns out to be in the flesh.

I love the stripes on your car! Makes it pop!

I love sublime. I would have ordered a colour other than black due to maintenance nightmare but it was available at a dealer in Canada with more options than I wanted and cheaper price than I could have ordered, am very pleased with it though. The stripes lift any colour very well, the black make your sublime pop.

I seriously looked at a lift like that and decided I wasn't going to be in this house long enough to mess with it.

Seeing this (in a fantastic garage to boot) makes me want to rethink my decision.

Nice.

Love the garage / lift.
I moved into my current, to be my retirement, home 3 years ago. Has a nice garage BUT...

that garage is where my paint correction and CQuartz gets done. I'm scheduled to have the SVR there in a couple of weeks for his magic. I am redoing my garage next year and am figuring costs now. If I can swing it I'll do one very much like his. The lighting alone is a bank breaker. His is for professional reasons, I'll back off of that a bit. The lift...it is the stuff.

Will be getting more info from him and will share manufacturer info and what I'm sure are eyewatering numbers and when I have it.

The lift itself actually isn't too bad at all, as far as lifts go. The prep-work in the cement is actually more than the lift is.

There is a simple elegance in that garage that I really like.

Good luck with your plans!

Well, not sure what to say, "Awesome" and "I bloody love it" doesn't quite cover it

Just what I was hoping for and more, practical comfy car with character that goes well, perhaps a little under exaggerated. I had been a bit worried it might seem a bit small but size is fine.

Been taking it easy as doing the run in, can quite remember what delivery miles were on it but a bit more than the usual, so today now covered 400 miles and refuelled ready for tomorrow.

Looks great in black, but its already a bit dusty and got my finger prints on it , must hold only the door handle .

Lots of things I likely haven't noticed but loads of nice touches, like the car silhouette in the windscreen, just shows how much thought went in. Oh and how lovely is the underside of the bonnet and the engine bay, all smooth, I didn't appreciate it on internet pictures.

Called at the tuning shop to show them, they were very impressed, they liked the belt width and using proper metal clamps everywhere and remarked that it looked better built/finished than the Japanese models they specialise in.

I didn't want to come indoors but it was 8pm and I was hungry so brought the book in and going have a read of that shortly. I fiddled with the custom settings and put it in sport mode but noticed the traction control off light came on so left that alone for the time being until I get a feel for it. Can't wait to give it some serious throttle.

Paddles are different than others I've had too, goes out of manual mode on its own so will read about how that works. EDIT - I'd just been using the paddles and so was only in temporary mode so will use the stick tomorrow for permanent manual, other car I've had with paddles just has the permanent mode whether stick or paddle activated.

Need to have a read about the auto high beam too, not had that on a car before and it wouldn't stay on and I got a message in the centre. EDIT - going to switch this off, think it was confused by a relatively light sky and I wanted main beam to be sure to spot wildlife in dark hedge rows at side of road.

Lots of looks on the M25 round London, its unusual plus the 70 in the number plate indicates its new September 2020. Will probably go fairly unnoticed near home as I live near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath so theres lots of US cars about.

I've had some really nice cars before but this one is up at the top of the list. I'll decide once run in and driven properly but for street driving I'm not sure theres any point in keeping my GTR.

Thanks, I'm really pleased.

I'm particularly impressed with the A8, it will happily change down and stay down, initially I liked sport mode as found track a bit clunky/too aggressive but now I've done a bit more driving I'm better on the throttle and its smoother. I have a GTR and paddle that a lot as its apt for changing up more than I'd like and unless you're still heavily on the throttle the revs drop, regrettably you can't always do the sort of speeds it seems to anticipate.

Not had the oil changed yet so not properly hammered it and I've got the line lock to give a go too :D.
