I agree, but that will mean cutting into profit margins and raising.prices so the folks who make the parts have a living wage. No body wants that. that's socialism. Better to support communism by buying everything from china....

No one makes companies do these things. I know bc I was involved in the decision making of one such move. My arguments 20 years ago against offshoring we're in the minority

I try to do my part - I source everything i can in my businesses and personal life from the US. Except Hellcats (I'm supporting Mexicans and Canadians!). But often, because we've shot ourselves in the foot so badly I cannot find anything made in the US for a given part or material. F-ing scary. We are screwed if we have to go to war with them.

Well I know for a fact that all the electronics they use to test and program their PCM’s and vehicles is made is the USA. Bosch on the other hand manufactures their PCM’s..
