Anyone give any insight into how a challenger behaves on the street with the sway bar removed please?

I've driven my RE a bit with the sway bar removed and it hardly notices it's not there. I typically take it off before going to the races and put it back on shortly thereafter. In my mind it works the shocks harder to keep the car flat around corners and the last thing I want to do is wear out those high $ shocks.

It's easy and quick. I use my race ramps, they get it high enough but just barely.
Once I learned the 3 or 4 sockets/wrenches I need to do it I just keep them together in a box so I don't have to go through that every time. Once you've done it once it's probably a 15 min job. The first time will take you a bit longer.

mines been off over a year an notice no difference. I`m sure I would notice on a circuit track but that`s not going to happen. straight line for me.

I took mine off a couple weeks ago & went to the track once so far & didn't notice much difference at the track, the weight savings is nice. On the street it's not bad either as long as you don't go in to corners very fast. Normal driving you will forget it's not on the car.

Definitely different driving manners but only when the car is pushed. Mine has been off for a while with a lot of daily and track runs. I don’t feel the need to put it back on. Obviously strut tuning will make it ride different but I’m running the demon drag mode like you.

I drive 60 miles (1 hour) each way to my track, you should be fine, just don't take sharp turns or corners real fast.

My sway bar assy weighs around 25 lb complete. I knew the Demon bar was a good bit lighter, it's nice to know the exact weight.

Hope you had fun at the track.
