I was trying to set mine up the same way I race it at the track but it wouldn't let me use "track" for the trans in default. If it would have I would not have to mess with it at the track then I could change it when I left the track. I drive daily with it in "street" for the trans. So at the track I have to go to custom when I'm rolling to the burnout box

I think the only options for default mode are Eco and Street? Could be wrong, and maybe it's changed over the years, but that was one reason why people were buying the Tazer. The Tazer can automatically switch to Track (or any other) mode upon startup.

True. Didn't think about that. Lower HP wasn't part of the Eco Mode on my 392.

Go to the dealership and let them keep the car for a week to try and figure it out.

Eco survives a stop/restart (key off) only if its selected when in default. You can set it in any mode, however a restart always reverts back to default, AND turns off eco only when it's set in track/sport/custom. Suspension and steering, for those that have electric steering can be set to sport or track while in eco.

(If it hasn't been said yet, go into modes and just press eco to turn it off)

^^^^ What he said. If Eco is switched on it will stay on during restarts. Just go in to the street mode and turn it off. It will stay off after that.

Or you can save some cash and just hit the SRT button twice.

See the above reply.

When you get to the track just hit the SRT button twice.
It will switch into Custom mode without having to load Perf pages and find modes first.

True. I think in my '17 it was 3x with the Sport button (no SRT button). It varies with year and model I believe. Some people don't want to be bothered with pushing the button every time they start it though* Personally, I just left Eco as default for relaxed shifts/2nd gear starts and had the replacement Tazer steering wheel buttons for easy 1 button-push access to Track/Custom, Line Lock, and Track Cooling (getting a little off topic now though).
