Looks like it's been awhile since anyone posted.

Anyhow, I've done enough mods on Jeep SRT's for 12 years my Trackhawk is staying stock until the warrantee runs out.
Although I am thinking of converting the rear back to straight axle someday... better launches.

Can't say much about my Trackhawk yet. Just ordered it.
Now I can only hope that it won't be built on January 2, and that it won't take over four months to make it from the factory to the dealer (like the Redeye did).

The only way to wake up the track hawk forum is to breach the door and toss in a few flash bangs.

Is that the Velvet Red or Pearl Red? Hard to tell with sun shining on it.

Are you sticking with the Yellow calipers?

And what's all that white stuff on the ground in 2nd pic?

It's the Velvet Red, and I don't remember seeing a Pearl Red when ordering.
It's darker than I thought, unless in sunlight, but that's fine for the stealth factor.

Haven't figured out the best way to un-yellow the calipers yet, but the yellow will have to go, somehow.

That white stuff is an insulation barrier, which keeps the tires clean. It's also the reason for buying this "Snow Cat" in the first place.
Unfortunately, the much needed aero stuff up front becomes the limiting factor in snow, I noticed this morning. DSCN3087[1].JPG

That insulation is our friend, Hunter. Separates men from boys, for example.
I could go on, but you are already aware of many of its advantages.

But I'll mention one more, just in case: You get rained on, you get wet.
Meanwhile, if I get get snowed on, I can literally just brush it off.

So can I. Just not very far.
Not even back into the garage, it seems like.

My friends poke fun at me for using Uber Eats when I have 4 fully functional fun vehicles to drive.

Not when raining. 😠

I haven't driven any of my personal cars in snow since 1996 in Virginia Beach when we got a rare snowstorm and I still had my Powerwagon. Lots of snow driving in BIG trk. Not fun at all.

That's why I got the SRTD. I never do road trips between November and March because my go fast tires are suited for Florida. Max Performance Summer tires.

Hmm. I've never driven my Challenger in rain. It's been either dry or snowy.
It does much better in the dry.

I thought I knew what rain was. Then I moved to Florida. Our Summer rains is a whole 'nother world.
And we rarely have all day rain, like ever.

Same here. The nearly mandatory summer afternoon thunderstorms, but rarely a full rainy day.
As far as quantity and ferocity goes, living on a ridge in SoCal was miserable. Not that it rained often, but when it did...

I had a guy ask my yesterday why I drive my HC in the snow. Well, for 1, if you have a Hellcat, you drive it as often as possible. For 2, my F350 doesn’t have a heated steering wheel... and I can’t live without that anymore.
