We were at the MSHS in Milan today and tomorrow they have a spot to park on Woodward for the Dream Cruise and Dodge will have their display there. They said Jay Leno will be getting his Demon 170 there and he would be having lunch with them. Sounds pretty cool

Yeah he literally didn't know the Hellcat wasn't going to be made anymore, couldn't name his favorite last call car, and seemed confused when asked which was his favorite "ummm, my favorite what?". Pretty embarrassing for a car enthusiast of his level at a big Dodge reveal event.

Apparently a supercharger issue which has since been resolved. The strike seems like the wild card with Kunisksis quoted as saying "keep your fingers crossed".

Oh boy, not THAT again. Jesse from SDG shared quite a bit of info with me when he worked on the 2.7 blower I came across. He stated there were some assembly issues on some that got the bearings to tight against another component and they'd "clearance" themselves. Made noise but he said he'd never seen one have a bearing failure all on its own.

I'd still not want mine to be noisy though. OCD.

I’m pissed enough at Dodge I’d release the text messages I have about those cars if it wouldn’t get the person that messaged me fired. I stand by my article about them having production issues. They may be producing the cars right now but they won’t be fully completed until December is my feeling.

I also reached out to Dodge to see if they wanted to comment on it before the article went up, but still crickets. I’m sure they’re all pissed off up at corporate and I’m the bad guy though.

Sexy ass car, idk if I’d describe it as obtainable tho. For him obviously. We’ll see in a few months I guess. I’d love to have one, but not really into the frenzy and all that adm is just a turnoff for me.

I couldn’t go in front of people and act like the this whole last hurrah with the 170 is so great especially with the way the dealers bent over most of the buyers with the ridiculous ADMs. Tim should be embarrassed after acting like most of the cars would be sold at MSRP when he knew damn well they wouldn’t be. Screw the 170. Im happy just rompin’ on my Redeye and normal hellcat on the street. Still more than enough power stock. I see the 170 as either a collectors car or someone that buys it to flip or someone really into drag racing. The only thing you’ll do with it on the street is either baby it or go to jail and do not collect 200 dollars haha. I mean you put the pedal down at 80-90 you’re probably going 150 in like 4 seconds. How many times can you do that before you get busted.
