Is this multiple years? I just got mine and it specifically said 2016. Of coarse that’s what my car is. I don’t have to do anything because we don’t have emissions requirements where I live but I’m concerned for my friends in Calif. It says right on my paper that California will be requiring the dealer proof that it’s been done before you can re-register the car. I know some people with modded cars who may need to move.

looks like its 2016 only so i doubt it will effect performance,looks like its mainly an issue with the cats, mine wouldnt pass inspection so there must be an issue with some cars in the 2016 model year.

I have my converters replaced 3 times alon with all the exhaust gaskets and fuel rails. If you don't have a code pop up,, for get it. Mine coded so Thst's why I took it in. They called me concerning the code before I saw it. Like Mike said,,, here in Florida with people dieing on the beach,,, we don't have emmisions inspections.Corornors are too busy.

I just got letter today for my 16. Don’t really want my factory exhaust cut open. Afraid it will slow down. Anyone get it done please give us feedback.

Just picked mine up, looks like it was 2015-2017. Looks like they replaced the pcm and the cats. My exhaust tone is noticeably more mellow than before. If you’re not having emissions issues like I was I would think twice about it.

sounds like they might refuse the physical parts of the recall if you said no to the reflash (that's the "reprogram" part). Anyway really had just the cats and sensors replaced?

This is all about the state of California sticking its nose in the rest of the worlds business. If your car is stock then it’s a big nothing that’s just costing FCA a bunch of money. If you have a modded HC that has been tuned, then you better hope that you live somewhere other than California. They are going to require the whole enchilada before renewal of your registration. Forget about your warranty... you won’t even be able to legally drive your car on the street. If you’re in Calif..... I have a suggestion. Register your car in South Dakota. They allow you to do that without living there. They invented a bunch of loopholes for the RV’ers to escape the ridiculous taxes and plate fees that some states levy on the expensive motor coaches. There are a number of hoops to jump thru that includes a short trip to SD but you can make a vacation out of that so it’s pretty painless.
