just to let you know about pumps and filters

I know most of you already know I should have.My tuner was having trouble with my car maintaining fuel pressure it would drop to 65lbs at wot. I had dual 525 pumps.Well I said maybe the pumps arent enough so I ordered a triple pump set up.Well this weekend I was able to install it and when I took the dual pumps out I was amazed with the trash that was in the basket little pieces of black specs some small some not.And the bottom of both filters were coated with the trash.I bet if I was to clean and replace the same pumps they would do the job.I'm posting this to let you know before you spend your money check everything! Triple pumps are in now though and it's maintaining solid fuel pressure.

Bad gas?

I really dont know where the material came from. I did put single walbro pump in a couple yrs. ago and did use rubber hose but it was suppose to be e-85 safe hose. And do put a most the fuel I use from container's but there metal. You could be right....I mean where else could it come from? Now it's not like it's chunk's it's very small.But your right it's trash more than rubber

But in the tank there was some black specs like rubber. But I drain it and then took blue towels and dried it so it was spotless.....but thats only one side of the tank!
