let's talk about some SRT 1/4 mile runs

Hello everyone,
my 2021 is still bone stock and I want to get a few passes on it before I start modifying it.
Curious what kind of 60ft times you guys get? How's your 1/4 mile time and MPH?
What have you done to your 392 Durango to make it faster? I have all my own ideas and plan on getting it into the 11's down the road and before the end of the year , I expect to be somewhere in the mid to low 12's.

Good air 12.8ish maybe slightly better. Like always weight going to be a big factor. Not sure how easy to get the rear seats out but would help. Lighter wheels

12.7 sec @107 here. Pure stock except for the Powerstop brake pads, 92 octane fuel, good use of the Launch Control, incredible density air that morning, probably not going to get a stock one to go quicker or faster. She pulled a 1.82 60’.

YOU WILL NOT REGRET!!!!! I believe you qualify for SUPERCAR category. Last year a guy in a DDHC did over 160!

That's a nice run I'm gonna try to match or beat. 1.82 isn't shappy, that's a good launch considering how much it weighs. I was pulling average 1.7's in my Scat pack Charger with its best a 1.6 60 ft. It was also stock except the Hellcat lower and a drag radial which I averaged 11.8-11.9 and best was 11.7 @ 117mph, that run was when I pulled my 1.6 60 ft

Looks like a 10-12 hour drive from me, I'm in Bucks County PA, right near Philadelphia. That looks fun, I would love to do that.

Thanks. It’s Launch Control seems to work pretty strong and it does have 4WD which all helps putting that mass of weight into motion. What a fun machine to drive. Yesterday I even picked it over the RE to go across town because I have been enjoying the car for a few days and gave it a rest.

There was a little 430i X-Drive that got to see a SRT Durango in Custom Mode (did NOT use Launch Control) work correct as described above yesterday.

Lined up @ a left turn on green into 2-1 merge. I detected he really believed that the small car was agile enough to make his way quickly in front of MY intended location. My larger vehicle got there first.

🙄I was provoked. Like the junker Audi did to my Cat the other morning. That was really shameful but I hardly needed to give the Challenger much to make that one happen. That was more like something I might do by myself just for grins.

We have one expressway into the city RT33...speed limit is 55...everybody does 75/80..it's dangerous...every time I head into the city some bozo in a beemer/audi/tuner car is weavin in and outta lanes to have a go with me...(it's 3 lanes wide...)...always traffic...it's like WTF...my yellow/black Demom is like a magnet

I work on Ft Meade and something I do not understand. People do 68 in a 70 on I-70 they get on 32 and the speed limit is 55 but the same people do 85.

and to the peps who have posted times for the 392's those are some very nice times!

30 over in NY...gets you in a boat load of trouble....I have NEVER been stopped in any of my toys ever...wouldn't want them towed...if I'm in for spirited driving I make sure traffic is a non issue...and I pretty much know where LE is most of the time....

Yup I grew up in WAY upstate New York ( near Massena ) and had more than one pull over on 81 as a young lad luckily only 1 ticket. Had a Cop figure out how much time I would have saved speeding just south of Syracuse to the boarder and he kept me there talking for the 20 minutes I would have saved.

Massena...big time North country....always kinda wonder what people do up there...especially in the winter....

Move if they are smart LOL. But nicest 3 months a year any one could spend! Also I miss all the public land.
