Regardless, it is reassuring to know that there is an alternative to the EV Charger and Hornet!
There always are alternatives. Not buying a new car is the biggest one. You can always build something else up even a current hellcat

The weak point has always been the OPG's.

Those 5.0's and 10R's will handle the power otherwise without major issue as long as the tune isn't done by a potato.
Thought the opg were addressed with the 15s or 18s if not they must not think they are that big of a deal. I changed mine out in my 13 but ran a supercharger for years before I did. I only did it because a I put forged rods and pistons in it

I agree needs a few upgrades but plenty have actually lived at that power level. My 6r80 holds a shit ton of power but its got all the billet internals from Brett Lasala.
THE 6R80 IS A BEAST EVEN STOCK

10r80 will hold up fine at that level in that light car. They take 8-900 in the trucks.
The 21+ F150 solved the OPG and crank sprocket issue by removing the OPGs and doing a Kevlar belt driven oil pump.

Did they make it any easier to change than the BS GM used on the 3.0 dirtymax that requires a transmission drop just to service the belt? Lol

How? That’s stock. Built 10r80s are holding 1300 in trucks right now. Godly amounts in the cars. As mentioned earlier, the 6r80 is VERY strong by comparison, but the 10 speed is a great tranny. As with MOPARs the tune is what will help keep the tranny alive.

Have not run across a regular “service” story on the belt, but it’s a 100k service item. The only times I’ve seen these motors opened up is when the cats clog and pop a motor or someone runs a 3.0 pulley and they’re picking up pieces of connecting rod out of the street.

The updated Oil Gears.

Yeah, so far so good. No broken cranks, no oil pump failures (that I’ve seen), the new Coyote doesn’t seem to be as robust as the GEN3 of older F150 and current Mustangs, but they make plenty of power for most.

A Coyote won Sick Week… let that settle in ;)
On radial small tires!

Those Furd engines move a lot of air.

It would be cool to see Dodge make something like it.
GM did. Problem, it requires 100k or more to get the car with that engine.
