Just saw a Rivian this morning on my way to work.

Ford sold out its Lightning F150 lot for the first year.

I see Teslas everywhere.
There is a very large market for electric cars and manufacturers would be stupid to try and not snag market share ASAP.
Rivian looks funky to me(not necessarily in a neative way just abnormal) but the lightning didn't look all that wild to be honest.

I wish I would have grabbed a lightning to try for a few months and then dump either my current truck or the lightning, unfortunately I'm a day late and a dollar short.

Tell that to my Ford stock..
I bought thinking the Lightening would make me rich....
As for today the only thing I'm rich in is...personality....
Ford made me some nice coin
Bought up a bunch when everything was tanking at the start of COVID.

Im normally an early adopter in all things tech, but im really not interested in an electric truck.
Granted, many use full size trucks as the family hauler (i did) and im thinking this is what many of the Lightnings will be used as.

I would only entertain it for the flip tbh, I think the infrastructure for electric is not there yet, I ordered a mustang mach e simply for the $7500 federal income tax rebate but it should be a fun few months, my state gives out another rebate as well.

Tax rebates are still around?
I thought Trump killed them.

Also, any more info on if Ford is going to make buyers sign some agreement saying they can't sell for a year?

For the lightning? I have heard about the agreement but nothing in stone.

Most new electric vehicles get the rebate, trick is you get the $7500 rebate for the first 200,000 units sold. So for ford the mustang mach e and for jeep the wrangler 4xe are the way to go at the moment.

Gm already ran through theirs with the bolts years ago.
