I'm not an engineer so the concept must be over my head:geek:

That's true, like a lot of stuff, did I need it, maybe not, but it makes me feel warm & fuzzy inside, to keep helping small business & the economy

I received and installed the Race Brace. Easy install and no clearance issues. Combined with Mark Williams DS, AAD arms, Demon shocks/springs, and DSC controller, very impressed with outcome.

Still trying to figure out how it will help
They don't...in theory the snake oil they use makes sense but there is no proof they actually do anything. 3 Hellcats all braced at my dealer all blew diffs less passes then me. Tech said so far the diffs that were cracked all had the DIRS. They told me if I run with one no warranty on the diff if I run without it as long as I keep doing the extra maintenance(Diff fluid changes more frequently) they will give me warranty if it breaks drag racing.

I can the the DIRS works on my Hellcat!
Prior to having one I had broken 3 diffs which caused 2 Driveshafts and an half shaft break directly because the diff broke.

I have the original installed since it came out and I have not broken another Diff so far.

I'm not sure about the race brace, but I do want to add it.

It's not always about the amount of HP vs the launching and sometimes depending how the track prep, temperature of the track or Weather temperature things can still break.
I will not race on a track below 50 degrees.

Linda :)

My comment was on the new front one not the rear. I know the rear works. I picked up a few hundredths in my 60ft

There is no way to prove either one of those statements. You do not know what variables led to those hundredths too many factors at play.

Could be but I had the car out a few times and after the brace the 60ft improved so I'm sticking with it

All you can do is go to the track and test. Sometimes you can swap parts out at the track back and forth to see if one is better and other times try to go in the same DA. If you can stand on it and it hooks you can get some accurate testing. If you have to get into it slowly to hook then there are factors at work

Maybe you improved and the brace had nothing to do with it?

Maybe but if you don't change anything else then it had to come from somewhere. I could have taken it back off and tested it to see if it lost anything

My Hellcat had the brace on it when I got it so I can't say on this car. The testing was on my Daytona

I got the Race Brace & installed it, there was some clearance issue on the passenger side arm of the brace & side of diff. , I grinded down a little on 1 fin on the diff & a corner of the brace arm & it was good. I talked to Bray about it first because I didn't want to be grinding on the brace & not be able to return it if it didn't work, he said go ahead & I could totally destroy it & he would still take it back if I wanted to. Told him he should move the passenger side arm out 1/4" in the future & would be better.

Also nowhere in the instructions does it say you have to drop the exhaust (stock exhaust anyway) to get to the passenger side bolt on the diff (AEV in the way) to bolt the brace on, don't have to drop the whole exhaust, just have to lower it down from the back & middle.

All in all, I like it & that SOB is solid for sure.

I don't how it can. the diff is bolted from the bottom of the cradle so it would be pushing up on it. Now it it were on the top I could see that

That's what I said. Doesn't matter where it's bolted. It pushes up on launch. If so, it's moving away from the brace.
