It is shocking what the modded 4wd rice burners will do at the track, easy 9's.

Local with a Plaid does 9.1@150 at the dragway, most boring extreme car you have ever seen. And 203 in the 1.5mi, over and over... 0-200 in less than 20sec. And a relative bargain!

And if the Plaid is ignored, they I have to assume the entire discussion was not about "fast". Not saying the Plaid is best, great, or anything, just saying it is fast as a fact.

Lambos actually aren't that fast. I found this out years ago attending the TX Mile event.

Lambos can go from under $200k used and very beatable to very expensive and it will take one your quickest Demon’s and good traction to beat.

That’s my point, regardless if it is @Speedy! ‘s new Vette or his Demon, they are generally affordable AND very quick in the hands of experience. But if this is going take $350k+ for that ZR1x, then they will be very rare to have an opportunity to mess with one on the street.

Oh and anyone who can afford it is not going to get too ignorant on a street anyway.

@Speedy! bring one of your toys to one of those long events. I may look to drive my rig down to one in the center of the country. I bet Jon could apply a small supplement to a tune for one of those.😂

Not really my cup of tea to be honest. I've been to enough mile events to understand it is VERY hard on the vehicle and thats when things go right. If they go wrong it's catastrophic.

I'm not a Plaid fan, but I respect the performance.

And as far as supercar GT's that underperform... Ferrari Bob at speed trials last summer showed up with a McLaren. He couldn't get it out of the 160's!!! He was livid! Wished he never sold his Ferrari!!! I don't know details because he is very eccentric and difficult to understand... His old Ferrari did easy 208+ in the 1.5.

Been watching a lot of YT stuff from Matt Armstrong. Ferrari is actually the worst on build quality. Literally a kit car. Lambo a close second. Porsche seems pretty good.
