SpankInTime Motorsports takes three of the top 4 qualifying spots in the Roadkill Last Call Big Tire category. The B5 Redeye takes the $1k for fastest Dodge and top qualifier at the event. I was number 3 followed by Max Nichols Dragnum to fill out the Final 4. Nicholle ran a 5.2 1/8 mile at 136 mph. I was in with a 5.4 at 130. She took me out in the semi to go on to the final. She went down to a killer turbo big tire Dart for runner up. Overall dominate showing to be in the top four of the 60 car field.

This was a super fun time. They did four rounds of qualifying that basically amounted to hot lapping. Just enough time to service the ice boxes and check tire pressure. Looked like a NASCAR pit stop 😂. We were all struggling with getting off the line. Prep at Vegas means putting the sweeper on the track for a couple passes and that’s it. They hand sprayed the first 60’ twice a day before the Pro Mods and that was it. My best sixty was 1.29 with the rest in the 1.3’s. I ran a 8.55 -161 into a Hurricane head wind with a 1.35 sixty. I took that and called it good and ready for the Roadkill. My best 1/8 mile in qualifying was a 5.43 and that put me at number three out of the 60 at the event. Of coarse we saw the helicopter come in with the new Demon. 😆

Were you still there when they ran the D170? Did they show the E.T.? During the live stream they cut away from it.

And it did it at Vegas. This was not a undercover session under mineshaft conditions with a hundred runs using multiple cars and drivers to hit the magic number like when they hyped the Demon. Vegas is one of the slowest tracks in the country with its 3k DA and constant headwind. Hell… they didn’t even prep the track 🫢.

Confirmed, no time shown. I didn't think it could run 8.91 in Vegas DA, but they programmed it in for display afterward which was smart for marketing.
