In an older Hellcat air feeds air in from the bottom via a triangular opening sealed with a foam gasket and through the headlight eye catcher. On the 2019 and newer Hellcat/RedEye and 2018 Demon they all feed in from the top Via a hood Scoop as well as the other 2 ways.

I wasn't aware the older Hellcats incorporated intake air from the wheel liner and thought that feature was unique to the Red Eye & Demon. Thank you for clarifying that and the excellent picture as well. PS: I've been following your performance at the drag strip and it's OUTSTANDING !!
