2019 Challenger Hellcat Redeye WB
Hey everyone, new to the list and this is my 1st submission. Thanks to some great advice and coaching from PhastHemi, I ran a new PB of a 10.14 at the MSHS NOLA event on March 7th.

Like many I traded up to the Redeye from a '16 HC, so this was only my 3rd time at the track with the new car.

Fortunately the weather and track prep were fantastic, and the car ran really strong. Temps were in the 50-60's and DA was -100.

My car is a stock Redeye WB, 3.09 & factory Rear Seat Delete car, with P4D DIRS and a GHF DS Loop. I was running Forgestar D5 Beadlocks with 315/50-17 M/T ET R's. I don't have front runners so I was on the stock front wheels/tires and about a 1/2 tank of fuel. No extra weight reduction and the car's event weight was a whopping 4630 lbs w/driver!!

To explain up front, the 10.14 pass was during an bracket race and I let out early for fear of breaking out (reason for time slip mph)...had I known how fast I was running I would have took the breakout and stayed in it for an even faster PB. LOL

What I find strange is this...all your previous passes you had 60s in the 1.4s and as your 60s got lower your times got better which makes sense. You did a 1.447 and 10.372 then you went a bit quicker then you went 1.439 and 10.276. All looks good and makes sense but then you did your worst 60 a 1.526 and went 10.142. The top 9 stock redeyes all have faster 60s. For you to run that time with that 60 is weird especially if you hit the brakes to run 10.142 @ 125.73 mph. That would mean that was a 9 second run with a 1.526 60 which does not seem right. At least not without a tune or trans tune. I am sorry I find this fishy. I will add the time but something here doesn't make sense. I call bullshit. Your not going in the stock class unfortunately.

Mark I would like to put my $.02 on your list .

When you say stock boost that should mean stock pulleys AND stock RPM shift points .
I say this because once you raise the shift point rpms you are making more boost then a stock locked ecu car .

Agreed. That slip is goofy. Slower than the previous quickest slip to the 330, then picks up and go quicker on the top end. Odd. Possible timer system malfunction, hard to say. Overall I'd say that 10.1 needs to be backed up imho. I'd just omit that slip and use his 10.2 slip (looks legit to me). Impressive he's doing that without front runners, using the heavy stock widebody wheel/tire combo too. That car is quick on its feet!
I also agree the other slips look legit. There is something up with the last slip though. I don't know if it is a timer malfunction but something is not right with that slip.

I have heard of more than one car over the years 'picking up' from lifting close to the finish line or hitting the brakes right at the finish line. IF(and I say IF) the car was tripping the finish line clocks w the front wheel on all of the wide open passes and instead trips the beams w the front spoiler on the pass he lifted on you'd get lower mph as well as a better et.. simply because the spoiler got there before the wheels would have.
