Ever since the installation of my AAD front control arms a year ago, I had a small vibration in the steering wheel. Today the sun was so brutal in my face and bouncing off the hood I could barely see and at 40 mph slightly hit the front left wheel. I need a new wheel as it is pretty scared up from the hit. But on the way home when I got to 50 and then to 60 the steering wheel was no longer vibrating. Not even a bit. Talking about knocking some sense into my car! Once the new wheel is on, I will have a realignment. Obviously, something was not sitting right, and the little jolt seated something.

Maybe it knocked the weights off.

Not sure how bad it is but you might be able to get the wheel repaired? Those wheel guys do a good job. They can tell you from a photo or two whether or not it’s repairable.

Been there... Done that. (Well, not me but my wife, GF at the time, hit a curb)

I probably could have had it repaired but you could physically see that it was bent as well as scared. This was a better solution for me.
