I recently purchased a used Trinity T2 from a member and had the standard PID gauges on the screen as I drove to work today. I noticed that when I pressed the accelerator to the floor the throttle blade open % only read 76%. Intuitively you would think it should read 100%. My first thought is that maybe I need to do a throttle relearn procedure but I did a little Google search and came across a Challenger Forum discussion on this topic which indicated the 76% is the max due to the throttle plate design and no additional airflow would be achieved with a wider opening. I'm not sure I'm buying it. Can anyone confirm this info or shed any additional light on the topic?

The math checks out. 3.8v is what’s considered wot on a stock tune and if you divide 3.8v / 5v, guess what you get.

What you’re observing is completely normal and expected.

Yamaha did that on my YZFR1 when new from the factory. After an ECM reflash it now opens full. and made one hell of a difference. They claimed (Yamaha) it was to limit top end. Any time you can get more air in. (and add fuel) it will be noticed.

Sure would have been nice! In all seriousness, I'm glad to here everything is working as it should and there are no issues.
