I recall that the AMC inline 6’s in the Gremlin at the time were actually a great engines and super dependable! I *think* they were like 252 cubes???

The 80 year old guy who wasn't paying attention and crashed into the back of my Gremlin while I was stopped didn't help it's longevity either.

Exactly! What I found out was that getting the unauthorized back seat delete option on a Gremlin does not improve the resale value. The spinal adjustment was free of charge though. I can always tell when the weather is going to change also...

I think they're pretty cool. I remember one with a 427 L88 in it. It was badass!

L88 was a monster. Friend of mine had a ‘68 640 hp L88 Vette. Ran 9’s with slicks. Mighty impressive in ‘72.

That must’ve been definitely cool, mine was beige with the white roof and had the V6 in it, I lifted it 4” and put 33‘s on it and that made it look lots better
