Water pump bearing knocking 18 Hellcat

Replaced the water pump today, not too bad of a job if you’ve got a decent assortment of tools. The coolant pipe to the pump is the trickiest part of the removal and install. Highly recommend using the vacuum filling tool to refill the coolant.

What vacuum level did you pump down to prior to filling?

Where did you get the pump from? Dealer or part store?

If part store, what do you think of it? I can't tell for sure, but it looks ok in the picture.

I used a OEM pump from Rock Auto. It was less than multile dealers, and I don’t trust amazon not to sell a counterfeit part.

I've only ever changed a pump with this style of gasket on our 2006 5.7L Durango, but I could never get that gasket style to seal without also using an RTV as well as the gasket.

Thoughts?

(The O.E. installation did not have anything but the gasket)
