It should be a relatively easy fix

Paint should be a non issue

Be careful with those stripes

I hope some people have a bit of karma coming

Whatever you do, get it off ASAP!!! Over time the marker dye might leech into the clearcoat and stripes and become impossible to remove.

The clear polyurethane is very tough, you can clean it with lacquer thinner, but I wouldn't let it touch the stripes.

If I found out who the fist fuckers were that did that...I'd break out the baseball bat...(Italian back up weapon)...and I'd be shattering hands and fingers....(and it aint even my car)....

I have used the orange gojo to remove paint from plastic! Great stuff!!! I put my SSN on a V1 radar detector with a paint pen, then wanted to sell it. Let it soak a bit and the paint came right off! Haven't tried it on clear coat.

I always use gojo after going to the track and takes rubber off....but I would construction asphalt paving and you may or may not know about prime that layed down before the asphalt and when we drive thru it no cleaner with remove it. But gojo with take it off you dont put it on and let soak in rub it on and rub it off.The orange has pumice what we use it solid white. if you let leave it on very long it wont mostly eat thru the clearcoat

Just waiting to hear back from the body shop. I am so pissed and bummed about this.

Just got off the phone with the Manager of the Garage and hes telling me go through my insurance so my insurance (Geico) will go after their insurance. They are just doing that so they dont have to come out of pocket for anything and the insurance will take care of it. I started off nice with the guy then started screaming after that nonsense he said.

I am not doing that. Put in a claim so it goes on my history, my rates go up, and my carfax gets messed up.

What I am going to do is get this fixed and hand them the bill. If you dont want to pay it, I will see you in court
Idk, but did you know sharpie removes sharpie.
Go out to your Hellcat and know if this works,it will take time. Take a sharpie and a cloth, draw over a letter and wipe. See if it works and comes off. You can also try in a spot and using a Mr Clean sponge. one letter at a time.

Took my 2019 Redeye in for a Freon top off and after that started getting the "IC coolant level low" warning. Rather than have another tech mess with my car I decided to use the bleeding method described by Alain in his May5, 2020 post. Worked like a charm! Many thanks...

Also, after this experience, decided against doing the Stage2 upgrade as I just don't want anyone messing with my car. The dealer quoted me a cost of $5500 dollars and then added that if they were unable to remove the SC pulley the SC snout would need to be replaced bringing the total cost to $7,600. I've purchased great running cars for less than that!

A lot of money for the stage 2. I don't think it is real common for the pulley not coming off

A Hellcat, Experienced and Knowledgeable Performance shop would be best. It's too bad that performance shops can't be certified by "Dodge"/ Stellantis to do the work!

It seems ridiculous to say " if they were unable to remove the SC pulley the SC snout would need to be replaced bringing the total cost to $7,600. " Just seems like a typical dealership and one that doesn't know what they are doing.

Just for reference this is High Horse performance's stage 2 package, which is what my HC Charger has and is pictured.
HHP Racing Stage 2 Dual Boost 850-1000HP In-House Installation Package for 15-23 Challenger & Charger SRT Hellcat 6.2L HEMI - High Horse Performance, Inc.

HHP's Stage 1 package is a pretty nice deal too.

HHP Racing Stage 1 850HP In-House Installation Package for 15-23 Challenger, Charger, Durango SRT Hellcat & Trackhawk 6.2L HEMI - High Horse Performance, Inc.

I think it's a good idea to build and modify to different levels for more HP. Some parts can be modified for future HP too.
My HC was built in stages, mainly because I was part of the T&T and R&D of parts and Tuning back in 2015 and that is how testing went by adding more parts as needed.
Now packages are made from the Knowledge and Experience. The Tuner is "Key" Of course this way you would have to decide to let the warranty go.
I also post if you are going to the track, there are safety things like for instance having a brace for the Diff Dodge - Challenger - High Horse Performance, Inc.
Which I think is the most Peace of Mind part" on my Hellcat!

Thanks for the information! Much to check into. Put Nitto 555 r2 on the car so not really sure I need more HP (can't believe that I said that) but more traction would sure be nice!

Hi everyone! My wheel supplier told me the custom wheels I ordered have an ET value of -4.5. For friends who have the original version of these wheels, is the ET number stamped on the wheel itself actually -4.5? I'm concerned because my stock wheels have an ET of -2.5, so I'm worried they might not fit properly. Thanks! (I don't know the official name of this wheel model, but they look like this – I'll attach pictures below.) IMG_7816.jpeg

The "can't believe that I said that"[driving][giggle]

I get that though, I like to Drag race and daily Drive my Hellcat. I have a Tune for DD, take off the Bogarts, Pully Down, add the Tune and 93. I like to race 10.0's and have several Tunes for racing and many other modified parts. But I think 10.0's is a safe race speed.

Many like the Nitto's R2's for DD and they are good for the Track. They like to be heated and can make awesome smokey burnouts!:D:cool:
