Put the clunky stock wheels back on, to serve as jack stands while I'm mounting new tires on the good wheels.

And it does look like the brakes are still in decent shape, at least there's enough left for next summer's driving. DSCN0263[1].JPG DSCN0262[1].JPG

That's unlikely. Probably leaves or maybe the remains of a bird.

Either way, the wheel well is cleaner than the wheel...and about as dirty as the front of the car. Yeah, it's peroxide time.
