I've recently switched over to microfiber wash mitts too. It makes washing so much easier than a sponge.

Anybody use Top Coat 11 yet? Seems to be a good product or it’s all BS.

Either a mitt, or "other". Other being a pressure washer, foam, and leafblower.

Need to allow multiple choice.
I use a mitt and sponge on car and brushes and sponge on wheels.

My last Challenger was Pitch Black. I taught myself how to do paint correction on it. I sealed the car once a year with Collinite #476 and periodically topped that with Jescar Paint Refresh.

Two fundamental requirements for keeping any car clean; quality products and a solid hydrophobic foundation.

Products
1. Quality towels/mitts of differing types for different jobs. It doesn’t matter how much time or money you could nvest in your paint; if you don’t buy quality towels, you’re going to mess it up.

Mitts: I’ve found that the green knobby mitts from AutoZone are as good if not better than anything else

Non-waffle weave Microfiber: study the chart below, especially the part bordered in red; learn it, live it.

For drying, until recently, I was a huge proponent of The Rag Company’s “Platinum Pluffle” towels for drying...but I’ve found something even better: Gyeon’s Silk Dryer. It is far more absorbent than the Pluffle, and on a properly prepared paint, simply glides across absorbing everything.

You need quality products like those above to maintain your paint, but even they won’t work as designed if the paint isn’t made hydrophobic. You can do as I did on my old car (sealant, with a topper), or you can use a coating, but these won’t work if you don’t clay and polish your paint first.

I'm a Rag Co proponent, and have a pfew Pfluffles, but I'll add one of these to compare.

I have the black satin paint on the entire lid of the car.

I use a metro vac master blaster to dry entire car.

Spot free. No drying towels touch the car.

Nastiest, hardest, grimy water Florida has to offer. If it can take that crap, it can take palmetto bug crap. why I am having it buffed this week.

I drive it through deep puddles full of salt water to blast off any of the dirt underneath. Then after I’m done scraping the snow off of it I go to the local carwash where they recycle their water. The kid at the end uses his towel, I think he dropped it on the ground between me and the car in front of me, but he rubs it all over to dry the car off, it’s blue. I tip my buck and drive home. By the time I get there it looks like shit again. Winter blows.

In the summer I use chemical bro’s honeydew in my foam cannon with their microfiber glove, and then finish with whatever spray on wax I happen to have closest to me. I don’t enter shows with my DD, but it looks amazing when I’m done.

No one else uses waterless washes here? I haven't used water buckets/soap/sponges for a couple years now and can't go back.

I do waterless washes in between washes. If car gets out of control then waterless washing is a no go.

I agree with that. If car is real dirty then all that dirt becomes an abrasive. No substitute for soap and water if your car is real dirty.
