Claims of 70HP gains with no tune on VP MS109 race fuel. I'm scheduled for an install at HHP in October.

Popcorn is ready!

70HP sounds...

Optimistic???

Do you have a baseline dyno to compare against?

OOPS! I didn't see this thread and posted the 3.17 in another thread. I'll delete mine. No need to repeat.

No PCM unlock = warranty intact? What do you think?

I am sure a sharp eyed mechanic will see that the stock pulley is not on the supercharger anymore.

It would be very hard to tell the difference since it's 3/10th of an inch.

But 70HP?? That's at the crank I assume?

I guess if you want a little bit more, why not?

Hell - I am still pretty convinced you could pulley down and add a supplemental fuel system, and just keep going on making power on the stock tune as long as the IDC doesn't shut you down. This has worked on speed density systems for ages.

Quote from the Allpar story:
While all of the testing on every model hasn’t been completed, there has been extensive testing done on a Demon with impressive results. When running on 93 octane pump gas, a 2018 Challenger Demon with this Litens 3.17 pulley picked up around 45 wheel horsepower and when that same Demon was running on MS109 race gas, it gained 70 rear wheel horsepower. On a standard Hellcat, the testing has shown gains upwards of 25 rear wheel horsepower on 93 octane pump gas, and those numbers should be relatively similar for the Challenger and Charger, while the all-wheel-drive Jeep Trackhawk may see slightly lower gains since it is spinning all four wheels. As for the Redeye, we don’t have official numbers just yet, but they should be similar to the Demon on pump gas, perhaps slightly lower.

In other words, if you drive a Hellcat Challenger, Hellcat Charger or Jeep Trackhawk, the Litens 3.17 Hellraiser pulley can add around 25 wheel horsepower without a tune or the cost of an unlocked PCM. In a Challenger Redeye or Demon, expect closer to 45 rear wheel horsepower on pump gas and Demon owners can pick up 70 at the wheels when running on race gas – again, all of this without an aftermarket tune.

Probably a real good option for RE and Demon with them having the bigger blower.

I dropped my car off at Zen Racing in the ATL on Friday for a Dusterhoff tune and a variety of mods including the 3.17. Unfortunately, I won’t know how much of my gains is due directly to the 3.17.

All the excitement is you put this pulley on without having to do a tune. Tell us why you did not go for a smaller pulley since you are getting a tune.

I’ve got a Redeye and want to stay on 93. Curt recommended 3.17 as the smallest so I’m trusting him.

Correct - on an RE or Demon, a 2.85 or smaller kills using pump 93 on the street...

I agree, although there's a guy on here that reports he has a 2.85 on his RE with 93 tuned by Pietz.

I hear it can be done by bleeding off boost? Who's got the info?
