I thought I read somewhere you were running the 3.70's.....so you know from experience instead of hear say I like that...so go with 3.09?
I love it in the street, but I’ve never had a 3.09, so I really can’t compare it. I think if I had the 315/55 tires (1” taller) over the 315/50 it would be better. But yeah, I run 9.8 spinning off the line and still cut a 1.5 60’

yeah I understand that....I'm just thinking over my option's with the little vibration I think a carbon fiber shaft and 3.09 diff. would be a start with the problem

Do you have a stock driveshaft in the car?

no aluminum shaft... I could see some small scratch rings around the shaft almost where the exhaust was in the rear about 3/4 down the shaft but for the life of me I dont see how it could hitting that far away from the exhaust and not come out

That’s your problem it’s junk get rid of it. My 4” aluminum dss one went so far out of balance it rattled the fillings out of my teeth and happened out of nowhere. Put a Redeye driveshaft in and it’s smooth as butter

These cars need a 2 piece driveshaft. sounds like you’re making around the same power as me (close to 900 at the wheels on e85). Redeye driveshaft will handle that without breaking a sweat. I have over a dozen passes on it

Just do a search for dss driveshaft vibration, you’ll find dozens of posts. It’s a real common issue with them.

I looked it up the redeye shaft is actually a little less more than the carbon fiber and do like the idea of it being a double shaft
