Any of them would be my choice before I looked at a HEMI 650….
Same here. I would be bummed out if I just spent $100k+ on a DC650 and the RumbleBee with a much better power plant just showed up for cheaper.

Same here. Looks like the Apache 6.4 is a slightly detuned 6.4. Little less torque and HP. Need to see back seat...my kids are as tall as me. Love to keep the Charger and daily the 6.4.
Probably detuned for towing. Back seats look a bit small from the online videos. Perhaps doable if the front seats are moved forward a bit.

Considered upgrading my 2018 over the years but not at $90k plus. Fighting higher pricing and dealer markups was a huge obstacle. Love the new trucks...but at what price? We shall see.
I’m guessing $45K to $50K for the 5.7, $55K to $60K for the 6.4 and $85 starting for the SRT. If Dodge can launch the Durango 6.4 again for low $50K, RAM could price the Rumble Bee more aggressively.

That would be great pricing IMHO.

Unfortunately that pricing would make it very tempting to keep the TRX and add a Rumble Bee. A winter and a summer version if you will.

But if there's one thing I really don't need it's another vehicle that doesn't get driven.

Let me amend your statement...

But if there's one thing I really don't need it's another [4 door] vehicle that doesn't get driven.

Good point. My current 2-door to taxi ratio isn't the best.

But at least the 2-doors are still in the lead.

I would hardly drive it either

Got my Durango on 10-1, just broke 1,000 miles on it.

And that's my "daily driver".

Tim and the Rumble Bee were on Jay Leno’s garage. Tim stated the pricing was not available yet but hopes the entry level Rumble Bee will start at $60K. I say about $10K too high for entry level.

I’m sure this video has been shared elsewhere but it should clear up some confusion.

The 6.4 Apache is the SRT 6.4, not the HD truck 6.4.
Tim mentions Direct Connection releasing goodies for the 5.7 (and probably 6.4) variants of the Rumble Bee - likely the supercharger package that they just put on the DC650. Now you’ll have the 5.7 RB at $60k and a ~$12k ish supercharger to get to 650hp. You’re $15k less than the DC650, with all of the performance, in RB trim.
It’s the orange block Hellcat (hence the orange interior stitching:sneaky:), 2.4 blower, pulley’d, revved higher, and improved intake to hit the 777hp.
11.6 1/4 (which may improve slightly later this year as they’re tweaking the tuning to eclipse the 170mph mark. They’ve already hit 168 in testing)
Hopefully just a pre-production oversight, but the lack of black cladding along the cab is horrible. If they ship without that, I’d like to be first to market to solve that problem. It looks incomplete.
In the drive, it bounces like I’d expect a lowered on 22s pickup to bounce.
Refreshing to hear them talk tariffs and EPA regs as opposite sides of the coin, so to speak.
Tim specifically called out the full frame Ram Charger SUV that’s coming - I wasn’t sure how true that was, but it’s happening.

So a Rumble Bee should only cost $8,000 more than the cheapest base 1500? That's not realistic.

The new Durango 392 starts at $52K so I was hoping for similar aggressive pricing.

Yeah, I recently paid just over $40K for a well equipped 5.7 GT AWD, but it's missing a lot of things that a Rumble Bee can come with, like a 6.2, much larger brakes, the sophisticated suspension, etc.

So I'm not opposed to paying more than twice as much for a Rumble Bee. Come to think of it, the '23 Challenger GT AWD cost me more than double over what the '18 Challenger 'Cat did.

Screwed the pooch by going quad cab!
Hoping by the time Q1 2027 comes around they’ve bumped that to a true crew cab. If you’re not going to offer it in a standard cab for the hardcore guys - do not - take a half step and release it in a quad instead of a crew.
I have to consider it with a quad cab, but not without the fear of them immediately releasing it in a crew after I buy it, which would cost me tens of thousands in resale since nobody will want the quad and I’d have to have the crew.
it checks a lot of boxes, but not having an adequate back seat is a hard pill to swallow.
Be nice to offer all three versions, small cab, quad cab and crew cab.

Would be quite costly to offer all three versions, small cab, quad cab and crew cab.
Fixed it for you.

Three different cabs, at least two bed lengths and two frame lengths, would not be financially sound to offer for a low volume vehicle. And that's not counting certifications, crash testing, etc. for three models.
