Cost of taking a Hellcat from 707hp to 800-850 RWHP?

$800 and had to add $1099 with unlocking, 8 credits, HPTuners, MPVI-2, trans tune. Even more going e85. This is what I'm seeing

This is what I was quoted from Dusterhoff for his stage 2 ~100rwhp on 93
2.85 litens
775 injectors
Jms Bap
180 thermo
Crank pin
PCM unlock/hp tuners/credits/tune
$3162.00
And then allpar quoted me $1250 for the install

Edit: The shipping is included in $3162 should use a local shop to install

Mean Cat, I'm not directing this at you in a bad way, just saying what I have found which is crazy. Seems every platform starting with Mustangs tuning just keeps getting more expensive. To me unlock service tuning and tuner shouldn't be more then $1,000. At this point companies have done every combo and pretty much know what is needed with a slight adjustment

I agree, it can get expensive & especially if your paying for labor too & don't or can't do it yourself.

The more I’m reading I think it sounds like E85 would be a better route.. I have to look more into the availability of this in my area. But that 10 mile away wawa gas station has it apparently.. so what do you think a proper build on E85 that does get me 800-850 Whp cost? And what’s an itemized list look like? I guess the 10 percent lower I’d want and probably a diff brace.. would the charger DS be okay just doing street pulls at that power level? Not like blasting it too hard out of the hole.. or would I have to go aluminum DS?

I figure between $3000 - $5000 depending on the exact parts used ( new or previously enjoyed, brand name or bargin brand, etc)

I think starting with a flex fuel tune would be a great start . It sounds like the best of both world .

With 2.85 & 93, I don't think the BAP is needed, I guess it can't hurt.

I would do this.
1. Upgrade the driveshaft
2. Install a diff brace
3. Get a set of Mickey Thompson ET Street R's or SS's for the rear with wheels.
4. 285 Hellraiser pulley
5. FIC 1200cc injectors
6. HP Tuner & credits
7. Pin the crank
8. Thermostat
9. Drop-in fuel pump
10. Flex fuel tune

This would be very safe and you could hit it hard when you wanted to without fear of breaking stuff. Total cost around $8,000 without labor for all new parts and tuning if I'm figuring right. Proven 850whp combo when running E85.

Missing axles. Stock you may be ok for awhile but turning it up like that, axles:)
If i do it ill probably stick with the .262 but I’ll keep that in mind

Stronger half shafts. Not gearing.
Would you recommend the aluminum DS? What else is an option for the half shaft that works?

Lots of us run an aluminum drive shaft. You could also use a Redeye/Demon shaft. The Drive Shaft Shop makes 1400 HP axles as well as a few other companies.
