Since it's past the statute of limitations I can admit to not waiting until I had a license.

Only cheated by a couple of three years, though, and occasionally.

I did this also, used to drive my drunk parents' home from parties at the ripe ole age of 12! It was cool though as it was usually in my mom's 72 Malibu convertible, which my brother now has after my dad passed a few years ago.

I am planning to go to this year's Detroit auto show to see what is changing and where everything is heading. Haven't been in a couple years but I'm curious this year.

Honda Ends Four EVs in U.S. Market with Expected End of Prologue

Honda will fall to ‌its first annual loss in almost 70 years as a listed company, hit by up to US$15.7 billion in restructuring costs at its EV business, it said on Thursday, as weaker-than-expected demand for the technology hammers automakers.

I blame all this on the space program when Kennedy said "I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to the earth."

Since then, politicians think all they need to do is pass legislation, and it will happen.
