Wheels aren't what they're cracked up to be, no matter where they're made.

Norway. That's a trip. Not known to me for their wheel making prowess (but they do make good things).

Helicopter says norge on side. US helo pilot keeps yelling out "hey swedes!"

I remember watching JWL Japanese forged wheel torture tests / standards. Like a loaded car driving on a bare aluminum rim.
Not the Cops bad boys, bad boys sparking steel wheels b roll. Or the stray forged BBS rim, wheels rolling down the Daytona pits sans car. During a 24 hour race.

Not real sure what testing standards are mandated for factory or accessory Dodge wheels? But they might want to have a informal examination of other HC like wheels still in service.

You might consider a Zyglow examination. Or Magnaflux test on the other surviving wheels. If you find a second failed rim. They make a nice yard art, stacked tig welded mail box post.

Sorry for your lo$$. Glade your attention to detail diverted a possible catastrophe.

These are the stampings from the wheels i bought off this site, to replace current fronts, including the fractured one. Same stamps on wheels on the car when I bought it. So, I think this is failure of factory wheel. What a drag... 20220107_152420.jpg 20220107_152504.jpg

Well, this is not good. You made me go look, only to see this on my OE wheels.

I don't want neither nor wegian wheels. Oh well, at least mine aren't black. DSCN4226[1].JPG

Those are correct.

This is the first I’ve heard of this on OEM Hellcat wheels. I’m sure it happens and unfortunately it happened to you but based on the lack of griping about it, it sounds like an anomaly.

My guess is its pretty rare. Sh*t happens.
Car is loaded with wheels for switch. Hopefully a slow uneventful ride down to tire shop and a fun ride home!

That is why I don’t mind paying Biz (@TRIUMPH) a whole shit wad of money for the extra consideration and rugged construction and materials of the two piece wheels I use at the track.

You still have that one set from Taiwan? Those have been torture tested and are good to go.

All this does raise some questions...
Wheel failure at speed definitely would fall into the category of life-threatening. At the track, bumping "curbs", etc., upgrading beyond OEM makes sense. But on the streets there are plenty of unexpected potholes and crappy road jolts too. And yet, I've never had or known anyone with wheel failure in the course of normal driving (until now with mine). How common do you think it is? Always looking for an excuse to spend money on something my car needs, lol.
