True. But you forgot the incessant humidity, oppressive heat, snakes, and alligators.
You can always go outside if you can't stand being indoors.

Should call it the s-cool bus . So you can say, like in winter, I just take "the Bus"

My Hemi powered winter beater/bus/taxi, going for it's 15th winter tour ...

last great American station wagon, with a lot of factory like hot rod appeal.
I would have no problem calling that my winter car.

I waited as long as possible. We did a smoke show last Saturday. They tell me the airport has recorded 17” so far this year. This sucks so far, goes along with the rest of 2020. Had to bust off the remaining ice and snow before I backed the Redeye out for its final wash of the season yesterday.

In the end, it rests covered and in complete heated comfort. The QuickJack which will soon be under it. I need to do a couple of minor maintenance items, clean what remains of the second raccoon it took out from the exhaust pipes, install AAD Tension Arms, play with the front end alignment. Clay-Polish-Wax-Detail, when we can drive again, get some of the lower wraps replaced, get a new windshield wrap. Then it is ready to go. It won’t take too much if the Pandemic stops and we can load it up on a trailer and go have some fun after Jan 1.

For the first time I'm actually hibernating my Challenger. Need to pick up some Stabil and a battery tender for her. Picked myself up a used 2002 Durango RT so I can get around and be safe in the snow!

It's the 5.9L. Silver body and black/beige interior. Love the thing. Certainly wanna build it up a bit.

Very cool...purchased ours 5 years ago with 88,000 miles. Now have 105,500 miles or so. AWD/4WD Version. Been a great adventure vehicle for us. 5.9s are tanks...transmission is the major weak point (overdrive spring). So far so good on ours.

^Got rid of the 2016 Renegade I have as a daily, and leased this 2020 Grand Cherokee. :) I had a WK2 SRT back in 2015 so I know the platform. Got a smoking deal on the WK2, so I had to jump on it. Having all the room back is awesome. lol. The Renegade is small as hell.

I've got a 1999 Durango that my roommate just picked up as well. The tranny leaks a bit on hers. But so far, my 2002 hasn't had much issue. I haven't had time to throw it up on a lift and do a full inspection. But I'm super happy with it.

I have a Simpson 4200 psi 4 gpm, with an adjustable wand. I bought it a few years ago, I believe it was right up near $1k or better. I like the Honda engine they use because I have a Honda push snowblower and that sucker is nearly 40 years old now and still works well for a spare blower. When I turn it up it can blow holes in concrete, so seems like enough pressure to get the bugs off the wrap.

Atom = gets hibernated.

‘Vette/Hellcat = no. Just put on hiatus during periods of bad weather and road treatment. multiple Sets of tires.

trruck/Jeep = trusty 100% vehicles that pick up the slack any time the need to.
