I didn't realize that it was a war. I was entertaining myself.

They're a totally different animal.
They are. And with a painfully low payload.

Against better knowledge, I even tried towing with it. Predictably, not a pleasant experience even though it was only an empty little 16-foot flatbed. DSCN4290.JPG

At least you guys have real diesels. Wife is partial to the Silverado w/Duramax for pulling horse trailer, nice truck but I would take the Cummins over Duramax.

One of my daughters has a duramax dually for her horse trailer. I scratch my head about that.

At least the horsies can help pull the Duramax over to the shoulder.

I'm surprised you aren't ticked off at the 2 tone paint lol. One of the reasons I went red was because it takes the eye away from what ram is doing on the bottom 6 inches of the truck lol.

Powerboost

430 hp & 570lb ft torque

If you zoom in on that badge on the passenger door you can see it clearly.

Generally I like Granite in order to stay below the radar as much as possible, figuratively and literally, but with a pickup I figured it'd mix in better being white.

And so far it seems to have worked. Of course, I've done a few things to make it look less than a TRX and more like a Rebel.

Great gas mileage 🤣🤣🤣🤣, I think it's like 2.5x the trx that's inbound rn.

24 city/24 highway is pretty crazy for a crew cab full size pickup in my opinion but that's just me.

I would imagine that there's some sort of Nissan or Toyota pickup that can approach those mileage numbers,
but much like I didn't buy a V6 Challenger (oh, wait, I did get one of those turds, too) I didn't get a TRX to get some kind of good mileage.

It gets me up to 15, maybe 16, the way I drive (which isn't slowly), and as usual, my girlfriend beats that with hers. Also not exactly driving slowly, by the way.

But give me a little time here. I'll soon have a medium wrecker, and once it's here I could potentially buy a Furd.

Nissan trucks are trash let's not even talk about them.

The tundra finally refreshed after 10+ years to get the same motor/mpg that ford debuted nearly 10 years ago 💀 .

Powerboost is an ecoboost with an electric motor/battery, no auto start/stop bs because the electric motor takes over at low speeds to provide instant torque plus the truck never stops running, basically none of that clunky bs where the car shuts off when you are trying to make a turn at a stop sign or a light.

Trx is an infinitely more exciting truck but I would say luxury goes to ford all day, stuff like auto hold, massaging seats, etc etc are still not in the gm twins or ram. Ram did a good job of closing the gap.

Most luxurious - f150 platinum/limited
Most fun/fastest - trx
Best offroad - raptor

I'm very excited to see what the trx can do stop light to stop light.

I have no use for "luxury". I prefer function and simplicity. Which is hard to come by these days.

TRX most fun? Yeah, it definitely is. But fastest?!? That's the one thing I hate about it....when you go to pass someone the damn thing cuts out at a measly 118 mph. Blasphemy.

Stop light to stop light? I'll use a 1/3 tank to get to the nearest stop light. And then maybe another two gallons before reaching the next one.

Luxury is useful in traffic, and when the roads are real shitty like they are up here on I-95.

I think you can eliminate the limiter but 120+ in a truck is sketchy, I would wager you need to lower it and fit it with more appropriate tires, at which point its no longer a truck but rather a hotrod...... see the f-150 shelby (more a performance vehicle than a truck if you ask me)

@ChargerChallenger didn't you have a shelby f-150?
