Sucks eh.
They even put brine and salt down.
Now have to wait for rain again to wash off the roads.

Project Demons breath got some new front skins today .
Continental - ExtremeContact DWS06 - P255/45R20

I chose these for a variety of reasons . It's not a road coarse car so I don't need gargantuan tires on the front , they have excellent dry and wet traction and handling, great hydroplaning resistance, harder compound to last a bit longer , quiet and smooth .
I moved the original front tires to the rear as the rear seemed to bald for some unknown reason . After I burn errr I mean wear these junk Pirellis down I will invest in a good rear tire .

No kidding . The snow didn't last long but the salt and other Crap they put down will be around for awhile . We need a couple of good rain falls to wash it away .

I was up at the cottage when the snow started falling. I was so tempted to pull out the snowmobile.

Well my header deal fell through again . This covid Crap is putting a damper on project demons breath . So I switched gears and have a new mod on the way . I'm hoping to install it this weekend with pictures of how I modified the mod to my idea . Stay tuned ..................

What brand headers are you looking for?

I ultimately want TTI 1 7/8 stepped to 2 in . My second choice is AFE 2 inch. But I already spent my alloted budget on my new mod .

That sucks about the headers. Are the TTIs superior in design over another brand? Fit, finish, or allows easier access to plugs? For as much as they cost, I’m considering having a custom stainless set made locally from a guy who does them for NASCAR and NHRA Pro Stock teams. He can build a set in 1-day.

Can’t wait to see the mod to the mod LOL.

I have the AFE 2” and really like the design of the collectors. A definite merge design with a nice pyramid inside. I know the step headers are designed for na power. Not sure if that’s a good design for forced induction. You see the really high power blower cars running zoomies. Obviously just going for zero back pressure and screw any scavenging. 6DBC2795-AC9D-4732-BF54-7CE4F4EBBD44.jpeg A84B32CA-363B-45AC-A090-03A30F1C8AB0.jpeg

I like TTI headers . I have used them on many different cars . The fit and finish is always spot on . Plus I like stepped headers for a street car . They help maintain low end torque . Plus I like their over all design tube length, collector, flanges , etc .

I want the stepped header due to the low speed torque . My car spends most of the time on the street at low rpms . I will definitely post if it works or not .

I always had custom stepped headers built for both my 540” B1 nitrous motor and high rpm 412” Yates headed Windsor nitrous motor. Both also had merge collectors from Burns IIRC. I’ve been thinking about headers for my Cat, but it’s not a race car so I’m most likely not going to do it. For what I’m doing currently with the car the stock headers will suffice for now.

The guy who builds custom headers is Greg Holman in Kingman, Arizona. Probably THE best in the US.

Haha. I used to work with Steve Burns at Jardine Headers. He went on to start Burns Stainless. He provided me with the pieces I needed to build a set of stepped headers for my Renegade class Mustang some years ago.
