Mine doesn't have the $2600 front axle lift option. I could take it or leave it, and a lot on the forums said they'd never even used it.

It does have front cameras that automatically turn on when parking etc, so unless something nuts happens I'm unlikely to curb it myself (knock on wood).
Yea, he got the 2LE, or whatever that option is, and added that option as his driveway is steep.

The 3LZ (in Z06) seems to be the most popular, but I can't for the life of me understand why. That trim comes with a carbon fiber and suede steering wheel, yuck, suede head liner and a-pillars, and special stitching. That's it as far as I know, and it's way more money. There's problems with the dash leather delaminating in the heat as well from what I read so I avoided that trim level. Mine's a 2LZ that gets all the touring goodies like heated cooled seats, cameras, etc. Seems like the one to get to me. 1LZ is stripped down and most that get that one make them basically race cars, makes no sense to me either for what they cost but to each their own.

Seats are different in 3LX...(standard C8 anyway)...and I believe the sound system is a step up

Ah, you're right, the 3LZ gets the GT2 seats that are a nice upgrade, my 2LZ has GT2s so I had forgotten about that.

Only place on the entire car that was not "like new" was a few scuffs under the front lower splitter ... I found a brand new replacement on FB of all places and the guy only wanted $100 shipped ...
Some guy in Chicago or Brooklyn is probably wondering where his heisted splitter went.

A LOT of people swap out the standard body color splitter for a carbon fiber or more aggressive black colored one. Lucky me I don't like either and prefer the stock one :)

The option to raise the nose is pretty slick. My uncle has a reg C8 and my driveway has a high step up. He'd never be able to get it in my driveway without that option. Makes life pretty painless when you need it, but admittedly its probably not terribly often.

Great color combo. Same as my 67 S/S Dodge. That's a great car.

I think Pete said that was an 8k or so upgrade. Not worth it in his opinion either.

Back in the day... I lived at the end of a cul-de-sac and the driveway was a perfect straight in approach, but the C4 could not do the step head on. Entering the circle at the end I had to turn hard right and follow the circle and enter my driveway at a 30deg min angle. No prob once you figure it out! :)

GT2 seats are like an $1800 option and VERY worth it IMO if specing a new C8.

Yep, I've become quite the expert at the angle approach since owning the Hellcat lol.

I occasionally get "stuck" when I do this, freaked me out the first time it happened, but you can end up with a "hanging" rear wheel and not enough limited slip to get up the hill.

I can't say I've ever had that experience thank goodness lol.

LSD in the Z06 is electronic which is new for me. Other than leaving 11s under power I can't tell it's back there :)

The vette crowd is the largest group at any of the local cruise-ins. Second, is the Mustang crowd. They usually make up half the lot, anywhere nowadays.
