A quick update:
I got the OMP seat brackets in today. I think I'll have time tomorrow to do some whittling on them and hopefully get my Kirkey seat installed tomorrow. I'm 6' and 220lb and an 18.5 seat would be more comfortable for me but I already own a 17" leftover from our x275 days so I'm just going to suck it up and use it.

The 15" Welds and MT tires came in. They look great. I got the TCE brake kit ordered from OST yesterday. It's shipping today so I won't see it for a few days.

We got the download sent to Jonx today so I'll be seeing a new computer in a few days as well.

My wife and I always spend the week between Christmas and New Years at the beach so the car won't see any attention until the first few days of January. I'll have a week and a half to get everything buttoned up before time to head to Houston. Hopefully everything goes well.

Quick update:
The 15" brake conversion is installed. It wasn't too bad to do. The brake line brackets took a little bending and the brake hoses need a wire tie to keep them clear of the tires. Lopping off the sway bar tabs was pretty easy w the sawsall.

The new computer is installed. Hopefully the 1200cc injectors will go in tomorrow, it depends on how my day goes.

Seat belt brackets came in. That'll allow me to complete the seat install tomorrow too.

I don't know exactly what to expect from these tires Mike. I plan to run the car some this upcoming season and our local tracks aren't exactly known for being particularly sticky so this seems the way to go. On a killer track I'd say a good 17" might be quicker - solely from the weigh savings.
The 56lbs is the weight of that wheel/tire. For comparison my 17" Billet Specialties w the 28" Hoosier weighs 42 lbs.

They are big! They're pretty much all that'll go under the car.

I got the seat finished up this afternoon and final installed. It's a 15ish year old seat that's been in my shop attic for the last several years so it isn't as pretty as some but it's temporary so it'll do.

It's on 4 wheels and turned around in the shop to begin the E85 swap. Hopefully I'll get the fuel drained tonight and start in on the injector swap tomorrow.

Injector swap went smoother than expected. E85 tune is uploaded. Car is ready to do some road time and some pulls so Jon can get things dialed in. Hopefully that'll go smoothly and my to-do list will be complete.. for now.

We got the tune sorted out Friday afternoon. It took 4 drives to get things pretty well dialed in. Pretty easy process, at least on my end. I'm sure Jon's end is more complicated. At this point it needs an oil change and loading in the trailer.
We spent some time Saturday getting things ready w the truck and trailer. Hopefully by tomorrow evening the car will be in the trailer and ready to head to Houston on Wednesday.

Mike/Jon - The car has changed a lot in the last few weeks. If it'll go 9 anything first hit I think we'll be off to a good start. I do hope that a few runs in it's well into the 9's.
Eric - Thanks! I've been looking around trying to find a light front wheel that goes well w the 15" Weld. Other than the mismatched wheels I love the way it looks.

Everything's loaded and sitting in the driveway ready to head out to Houston tomorrow. And now I'm at that point where I'm looking around the shop wondering what important thing I'm forgetting. lol
