First off what is tire goop? That sounds like some cheap tire dressing.
It's what I call whatever chemicals that people punish their tires' sidewalls with.

She certainly could if she wanted to, but she doesn't and looks perfectly fine without any.

And speaking of tire goop, I've always wondered what happens to the brakes when people spray wheel cleaners and tire goop on the rotors. Are the pads somehow impervious to those chemicals?
OK...pics of her without make up

I am with Jimmy. At worst my tires get to be subjected to Bleach White briefly to get the dirt and other shit from the roads off of them. Then that is why I pay extra for Michelin Tires. They do not need any GOOP to make themselves look good.;)

And therein lies the problem. Even at 17%, I don't have enough money to make it worthwhile.

Now if you go after my girlfriend, who does have money, I'd be right back in jail. Not because of something you did, but because you tried. Then again, realistically she's more than capable of taking care of herself so I wouldn't necessarily know that anything happened if you entered the barn.

At least not until she asked me to fill in one of the graves I've dug for the horses. Then I'd say "Huh? How did this elderly man manage to fall into a grave back here? Oh well, I'll cover him up and dig a new spare tomorrow."

Pretty safe bet that you didn't tell your wife where you were going, so she would stay busy putting up Missing Person posters in New York. In vain.

Surely, We digress.
I really like my Nitto NTO5 R's for street in the summer.
My PS4's work really well in the off season and while I boil the shit out of them on dry days in the winter they show very little wear and are very quiet and kind of sticky.
MT street ET's for the straight line track.
My summer set up is on the 5 spoke knock offs and the PS4's are on the Devil's rim jobs which came with the car.
The MT's are on bead locks.

3 years 1 month and 28k miles on these 275/40 Michelin PS4S. Don’t think I ever rotated them as I run 305/35s on the rear.

So a few weeks ago I was replacing my front brakes at a friend’s shop and we pulled off the front wheels and saw this and was like damn! Guess I’m getting new front tires now lol

I knew they were worn about to the wear bars and would have to replace them by this winter, but I didn’t think the inside edges would be this worn? Car tracks perfectly straight and steering wheel is center as I did have the alignment done - granted a couple years ago - but the car still feels very tight and right. Probably should get it re-checked just for peace of mind???

I realize this doesn’t add much to the tire debate, we all have our favorites and I just paid $900 for 2 new Michelins, granted that’s installed with the warranty.

When the inner shoulders wear out first it simply proves that you drive far too slowly through the curves.

Don't you have any roundabouts nearby where you could even the wear out?

I’m going to make you feel better because you just described and showed the very same thing my front Michelin's did!! Same here as you can guess, my alignment is on it. Granted I keep the camber tilted, but those look nearly exactly the same! Sorry Jimmy my front race set does not look like this, but I bet Eric and I drive the same, if I’d get any more crazy the insurance rates would increase dramatically along with my donations to the State. You want to follow my Challenger thru roundabouts?:sneaky:

Yes and no. I sure wouldn't mind following you, but roundabouts tend to exist in places I'd rather not be. As in towns and cities.

Yeah I think I watched too much Dukes of Hazard and Smokey and the Bandit when I was a kid because that’s basically how I drive all the time lol. Hell @DGatzby - I know you had a Trans Am back in the day too - so I think we both need tire sponsors!!!

So strange the same things have happened to us for decades now? Yep they pulled me over in my ‘78 going 76 mph after I saw the movie. I had a ‘75, ‘78 (built up that 400), and ashamed to say a ‘82. Therefore like I did… get the new tires and be happy. Mine has a few 100 miles on it now and I have looked close at the fronts. All seems fine. The exposed stuff seemed to happen to those tires fast when I was not looking it was very strange.

The OEM run flats are “pretty good”? For what? For Dodge to have made even a bigger profit on what they charged me for this rig, because they probably gave Pirelli dog shit $$$ for this junk.

They are going last 25,000. After I pull off one more MN-Colorado and back along with about 85% highway miles on this beautiful rig, those heavy run flats can bite me. I’ll need some tires within the next month.

NEVER, NEVER again heavy run flats, and NEVER, NEVER will buy Pirelli tires EVER! That is the same shit they have on our Challengers that we hate and change instantly.

THIS WITH A 45,000 thread wear warranty will be my selection, done deal and I could give a shit what they cost. My Challenger only wears Michelins and I cannot be more happy continuing with that brand.
